As much as I'd love us too I don't think we'll get Lukaku.

I think we need to bring in a quality winger, attacking midfielder, striker and centre half all permanently.

Then maybe re loan Troare and Del?

Hopefully Martinez will do a lot of business with the money we've got floating about from players leaving.

Most importantly I think we need to keep hold of our youngsters though, vital ross Stones and Coleman go no where. McCarthy and Baines are both in the bag so that's something...
Re loan del since barca can get players and see what he is made of in his second season so give him a proper judgement sounds good. Striker would be Hernandez for me, lukaku is dog [Poor language removed] so forget him, but wouldn't mind Traore on loan with option to buy at end, don't know what it is about him I just really like him from seeing him in Europa in previous seasons, great strength that he will actually use unlike rom half the time, good pace, finishing seems decent and gives that other option of crossing say or just going ultra direct if we need like in games vs cp. Like other guy said, if menez is on a free then he is the quality winger, attacking mid not sure yet, but need a cb in his prime. I would say perhaps benatia? But other clubs would want him I suppose.

Jack Cork for cover of McCarthy
Barry to sign and hopefully Gibson stays fit
Awesome if we bought a Bony/Lukaku type player for competition with Kone
I still think we need a #10 player but I cant think of anyone who we should go for that's affordable.
If we had enough dosh left I'd love for us to sign Joel Ward for a RB/CB cover.

Chelsea linked with Stones for 20 million, I want stones to stay under the radar. Can see why Chelsea will want him, Terry is in coming to the end of his career. Man u will also want him as he better then Stones and Smalling put together. I recken if he keeps this up we will have to fight bids off next summer.

he will definitely be high on wishlist ,,for both of these teams..

Real Madrid are signing Juan Iturbe when they already have Ronaldo, Bale, di María, Jesé and Isco for wide cover.

You know what to do, Bobby. "¿Puedo tener un prestamo?"

I'd be happy with a strike force of Batshuayi, Kone and Traore (loan) next season.

Get Barry and someone like Colback on free. Del back on loan, with one or two others and the squad will pretty much be set. With Gibson returning, McGready settled, Barkley and Stones continuing to improve etc.

All of that should be easily achievable even without champions league football.

Don't want Welbeck anywhere near our club. Especially not for any sort of actual money.

Bony I am warming to. There's the one-season wonder risk and the fact that he'll go on ACON walkabout every so often, but he's younger and less rapey than Remy. In my mind, it's Bony or Benteke to go along with Lukaku, but we have to get rid of Kone and Traore to free up wage space if we want to bring in two strikers.

Barry.... as good as he's been this year, age makes you slower and some players lose their pace almost overnight. I have a nagging worry that Barry is on the cliff edge. I don't want him AND Gibson in the squad, because that's too much risk at one position. Keep one or the other and bring in De Guzman and one of Cork or Colback or Cleverly.

Traore - I've seen nothing of him. I can't decide if he's worth keeping or not, because he's played what, thirty minutes for us?

Del - No brainer. Definite keep. Allows Mirallas and McGeady to play on the left, which means we can replace Pienaar, and he shows outrageous promise.

CDM on loan - see Barry above. Or maybe Baines moves to CDM, if Garbutt is judged to be ready to back up Oviedo? I would love to see some of our squad depth issues solved by some of our youth players coming through.

CB - Alcaraz has to go. Distin, Jags and Stones are a great trio, although Distin and Jags may not have all that much longer left to play at prem level. If Duffy is ready, then he comes in to replace Alcaraz. If he isn't then he stays out on loan, Alcaraz goes and we bring in another CB. However, CB is a position where Man U might be looking to sign three or four players this summer, so the market price is going to inflate at that position.

All that shopping about and you wouldnt have fixed our biggest weakness, I bloody hope Bob does a better job than that!

Not sure if batshuayi would choose us though, would he be just be repeat of lukaku? Who seems to be dog [Poor language removed] most of the time. But I want Traore with option to buy at the end

This team needs a playmaker, its blindingly obvious. Pienaars past his prime, Osman is average and should be a squad player and Ross is still young and we cant be sure he will develop passing/defence splitting skills.

Its been the number one problem from day one. Its been blatant even in the games where we racked up some goals.

It's been blatant for years mate, we've always lacked that creativity from the centre of the park, wether it's from deep or ACM, but being cash rich gets you those players!

Anybody watching the Sunderland game?

Colback is playing in behind Wickham today and playing well. Looks a real neat and tidy player and can see why Martinez is being linked to him.
