Right lads i was talking to Roberto over a latte this evening, he told me all his plans so no need to continue with this speculation.

Outs
Hibbert
Osman-
A newly promoted team will hopefully stump up £2m for his experience, would be a great signing in my eyes for one of them.
Vellios- £1m needs to go for the shear fact he is the only person better looking that Roberto at the club.
Gueye- £500k Anybody that will have him
Duffy- £1m This lad could make it in the prem but will probably end up with a championship club first, has been unlucky with Stones being boss and the emergence of Ty Browning

Loans
Lukaku-
Will either end up at Spurs or A Madrid as bait for Diego Costa. For 20-25 million he is out of the price range, shame think he will be a beast in a few years.
Traore- Will stay on for another year, not a hope in hell he isn't or he would be sunning himself in Monaco right now instead of hanging out at Finch farm.
Barry-This one could take a while to sort out, £80k a week is too much for him but his mrs doesn't want to move the kiddies down south, so he does as he is told and stays for £50k a week.
Delefeou Barcelona let him stay for another year i reckon.

Ins
Dusan Tadic -
Would be a great capture. provides goals and assists and is just boss... Roberto is well aware nearly eerybody here on G.O.T wants him so done deal.
Jack Colback- Free transfer has looked impressive enough in a crap team, will provide midfield cover and be handy for league cup, europa league and fa cup games. Did i say he was free
Snodgrass- Same reasons as above
Bruno Martins Indiana Jones- Eventual replacement for Distin, will partner Stones to our league success in 2016/17 2018/19 2020/2021 etc etc. Boy is a good player, good on ball, strong fast, what's not to like.
Tom Cleverly - Roberto really wants him, Van Gaal looks at his performances from this year and reckons he is crap, But Robbie reckons he is boss and that's good enough for me.

Roberto hasn't a clue who he want's to buy as a main striker, Remy he has fears he is a mercenary. Bony could be a one season wonder and cost way too much. Danny Welbeck could be the surprise signing, id be happy with this.

P.S. He didn't tell me this over a latte, he called me on the telephone;)

Is he intending to play Tadic on the wing or in place of Barkley?

From what i seen of him ( must admit it hasn't been more than 5 games) he could easily play any attacking position. Maybe i am praising him to much but i think he would be a fantastic signing.

How about Andreas Weimann from Villa? He's young, tall, has international experience and has scored twelve goals in 54 prem games for Villa. Given what we have up front once Lukaku goes, is he worth a punt?

I like Weimann a lot.

Not sure how much he'd be. But he is a right pain in the ass for defenders.
Not always that consistent with actual football. But seems to have the Cahill knack of being in good goal getting positions.

We've got quite a lot of attacking mid/winger options really if you think of McGeady, Naismith, mirallas, Barkley, Pienaar and you could also consider Osman and deulofeu if he stays another year. What we really need is a quality striker (lukaku won't stay IMO) and a replacement/challenger for Barry's spot in midfield. I think we have a decent shout of keeping Barry, he likes the club and will play most weeks. He's already earned a fortune so maybe he won't mind taking a pay cut.

We won't get a 15-20 goal a season striker for less than £18-20million though. Unless we get ridiculously lucky.

Have to agree with Weimann. Think he's just signed a new deal recently. Wouldnt get rid of any of the squad with Europa in mind.

Lescott on a free? :celebrate:

Worth wondering why nobody has come in for him at that price, though? I mean, it's peanuts for a decent prem quality centre mid with experience.
Sometimes it just doesn't happen mate. A lot of deals happen and people think 'why didn't anyone else go for him?' it's just the way of football.

Still, I can understand people's reservations. He was very highly rated in Spain and available for free after Wigan, and on both occasions big clubs swerved him completely. Just seems a little odd, especially since he's not a player who's ever really struggled with injuries.

Wouldn't mind a player like him, though, even if Barry stays.

Out

Vellios
Gueye
Duffy

In

Deulofeu - loan
Traore - loan
Barry - free
Immobile
BMI
Cleverley

I think Martinez might target a few possible young superstars, Nathan, Mosquito and Boschilia all tore up the U17 World Cup last year for Brazil. Nathan in particular is rapid as anything. Him on one wing and Deulofeu on the other would make you giggle.

...just posted on a similar thread that I like the young lad who plays up top for Norwich - Redmond I think. Looks a talented boy.
I know he's still young but he's been in and out of an appalling Norwich side. I don't think he's really going to push us on to the next level.
