It's one of them sad inevitabilities, such as his constant pointing, I'm hoping will get phased out as the Gameweeks pass.. but for now I think Carlo will trust his tactical nouse on the pitch over some of the new boys

The flexibility of Herbert Chapman, the redefined backline roles of Karl Rappan, the domineering Total Football of Rinus Michels and the Valencia of Gary Neville.

God I hope that’s right. And it might still be right even if he does play him on Sunday, I guess we’ll see how things go as the season progresses. Just the thought of him ghosting around doing nothing yet again is really disheartening.
