I would normally say if we win and fulham win we'll be a point off 4th but I cba thinking about other teams results anymore

He's very conservative Moyes. Whatever happened to 'if they're good enough they'll go in'? That's what he said. I've no axe to grind with Osman as he's a good player. But Moyes is very inconsistent.

If we get beat here today there's absolutely no excuse to not use the remaining games to throw Barkley, Duffy, Oviedo, and even the likes of Kennedy and McAleny in.

Ossie will probably have the armband for this one.
Fairly good team, disappointing that Jags is out though.
We need Anichebe, Felli and Mirallas on song today.

Funny how Barkley is on the bench, i mean, even if it's Sunderland away we let Gueye start in that fixture at a much more important occasion...

Jags is a massive loss. Will depend on which Sessegnon turns up I think. There's a pub here which shows all our games over here but I'm missing this one to see Cirque du Soleil, think I'm gonna be barred.

Yeah there is, its the "oh we can't risk playing young players for the long term benefit of the club cause we might drop a place in the league and lose some prize money, stick with the same tired old players who cost us games instead" excuse which always gets trotted out.

Agree with this but I think the team selection today is the right one dave

Some of the whinging here is ridiculous.

It's not like Moyes is playing Neville/Heitinga at CM with Fellaini up top as lone striker.

This is probably the strongest lineup we have.

That will be it, yes. But it's false economy: we can save ourselves a few million by blooding and seeing exactly whether we have a player on our hands even this early with the last two named.

There's a lot still riding on this, so yes...apart from maybe playing Heitinga at CB (where he's stunk this season). Duffy could have handled it.

Why are everyone so upset about Osman being back in?

We´ll need experience today since Sunderland will be well up for this one.

(For the reckon I believe Barkley will be an awesome player in time)

because he has been utterly grim for months, it was a pleasure to see a midfield without him 'ghosting' around the other night
