So can you see why I find it outrageous that he sits back and says "I'll see how we go" about his contract?

It's his job to make sure we do well. If we don't, he's failing. It's insane.

Someone nailed it above. Moyes is the perfect manager for a board who invest nothing because he'll always keep you treading water, but if you want a manager who will win things - or even threaten to compete in big games - you need to look elsewhere.

Ultimate blame lies with the charlatan Kenwright, but Moyes is DEFINITELY not without blame for performances like today that occur far, far too often when the pressure is on.
I think that's reasonable, we sit on different sides of the fence on the issue obviously, but get what you are saying completely. I think the true judgement of Moyes for me, is if he was ever giiven a war chest. If he was the same manager we see now, I think then I'd probably join your side.

First time we have lost in how many? just saying like.

I can take a one nil beating if we tried and showed up for the game simple fact is we played SFA. Naismith on 75 mins had the ball 3 times one he made a back pass, two he fell over, three he was looking for a foul. Just saying like.

I wouldnt say we were awful today. I thought we were a tad naieve in the final third. Distinct lack of a spark to set up a quality goalscoring chance, otherwise I thought we were by far the better team. A poor mistake by one of our best players has cost us. I think the effort from Tuesday against Arsenal caught up with us slightly. Good mate of mine who is an Arsenal fan , who thought we were superb on Tuesday, said on Thursday we wouldnt have the legs today. I thought it was a fair call. It was always going to be a huge shout to carry on winning, getting results, maybe today it just caught up with us. On top of that the Di Canio factor etc. Lets be honest, we were never going to finish top 4.Did any of you truly believe we were? It would be really nice to try and finish 5th, if not then at least above the RS. Personally I cant fault them for effort today, I could fault them for more composure and guile. As me Ol fella always says, never let Everton ruin your weekend. Sometimes thats hard (Wigan!!) but generally I can see it for what it is.
Looks like I may be losing me job in the next week or so.
Perspectives.

If Gibson was injured then I would have rather he put Ross on, we tried the same thing against Wigan with Jela and Vic, it didn't work then and I knew it wouldn't work today.

But what a pathetic showing from them players wearing Everton shirts today, embarrassing.

looks like now we cant beat teams in the bottom 6

that said we cant beat teams that pressure us..are players lack footballing brains...no movement at all
look at ossie and pienaar all day
moyes has to have a word with himself and the players
the big clubs will let us play our game, but the bottom clubs wont
sort it out
