Depressing listening to Steve McLaren on 5 Live just listing fault after fault with our play. We don't have a plan 'b', never mind a plan 'c' most matches. We don't have the quality on the bench to change a game, we don't have the quality on the pitch to create that something outside of the 'game plan', although players are capable of it, Pienaar for example can but hasn't been brilliant lately and even Osman too but when he's obviously no where near fit and has looked knackered after 65/70 minutes for the past 5 or 6 matches he's not going to offer anything.

God knows what's happened to Jelavic, sadly Victor Anichebe is not the answer to our goal scoring problems no matter how much effort he puts in, how good he is holding the ball up, pinning defenders which he is good at doing, his 5 minutes here and there doesn't win you games. The 5 minutes he puts in at 70/75 minutes when the opposition is tiring can win a match or grab a point as he's shown but starting and over 90 minutes he just can't effect the game.

How you can go from a good solid performance against Arsenal to that shower is mind boggling and it's not the first time this season that we've done it this is the 4th or 5th time it's happened. Players mustn't be having their weetabix or something. Absolutely no killer instinct.

The board ****ing up in January big time, if we get into the Europa League I fear we will do a Newcastle. I don't trust the board to raise or invest capital to bring in the quality to the squad that would be needed to be competitive in the league while playing extra matches in the group stages. CL is different story because of the stupid difference their is in TV / prize money involved. Though Moyes would still probably play his favourites and he'll still bring on Naismith for Mirallas when Pienaar is dead on his feet and we need Oviedo on to run and at least contribute something more. Then again we'll still probably go lumping balls into the box against 2 or 3, 6' 3" + defenders with only Jelavic trying to get his head on, while Fellaini sits on the half way line 'protecting' the back four.

Pienaar absolutely awful, seriously the amount of people who take a dig at Barkley for losing the ball take a look at this guy, absolute joke and has been for the majority of the season, sort it out Steven lad. Fellaini and Distin were about the only players who shouldn't feel embarrassed by their performances today, goodbye Europe for yet another season.

Bottom clubs away from home: Reading (L) QPR (D) Wigan (D) Aston villa (W) Newcastle (W) Stoke (D) Sunderland (L) Norwich (L). Not good enough for where we want to be.
