I just watched the first episode I assume you mean the chairman's right hand man ?
As you say he is absolute balloon.
Hes not at the club now he left a few months ago but in his time at SAFC he was mainly famous for having a pint in his hand in bars near the ground

Yank billionaire takeover complete just a case of an announcement over the coming days

I'm surprised this got left out of the series, it must have been quite major, a takeover of this size

Massively Brent

He is but look at all those vacant headpatters he had to work with. "Hi lads your business is losing loads of money" - they all rolled their eyes like they are in an underperforming sixth form class. It showed why they are so unlikeable, they were being given a chance to save that cesspit of a club and they would rather sit there taking the p!ss

Sun Reading, Brexit Voting Imbreads.

Wonderful series with I have to say you can't write it stuff.

Love Oviedo tho x

Watched the first 2 episodes. Feel sorry for Sunderland really. Reminds me of the mess we were in in the late 90's early 00's where we couldn't keep hold of our best young players. I suppose in the anarchy and the chaos that comes with failure, it's hard to plan in advance.

The Chairman just looks well out of his depth to me. A nice enough bloke but well out of his depth. The head of football relations likewise. The posh guy who's full of himself is the sort of guy you meet a lot of as well. Full of himself and really unable to communicate with people at their level. He talks at people.

The first priority you would think on arrival at Sunderland would have been to get Maja sorted in the summer. They obviously boxed Honeyman off with the captaincy, but was surprised they didn't sort Maja and the lad who played up top with him the previous season, who looked a handful.

I think Jack Ross seems ok as well. They probably should have given him more time. He seems to be doing ok.

Anyway decent watch, will watch more tomorrow.

Losing Maja was a kick in the bollocks, with him they'd have gone up comfortably. Think Donald's heart is in the right place and he definitely made some positive changes but a quick fix is impossible up there, it will take possibly a decade before the club is fully turned around.

That Charlie bloke, money-obsessed one with a mad barnet, think he's been done by selective editing. Personally think he's right in wanting to push the non-playing staff harder and being obsessed with making the business viable (though he could speak to people better).

Hopefully good times on are on the horizon.

Luke ONein is a top lad like just appreciates the job hes doing we wouldn't be in this mess if we had more players with his attitude the past few years

Whats the general opinion of the owners up there then Albert? They seem like a couple of opportunists to me and completely out of their depth

Loads were taken in by them at the start but as time went on opinions sharp changed and see them as the chancers you say they are.
They got the club pretty much got the club for nothing (Ellis Short paid off the debt) and they banked on us going up first time and selling us on making a big profit

I think Stewart Donald comes across as a decent enough bloke even though hes out of his depth his sidekick is a moron though thankfully hes not at the club anymore
