Tyias Browning not in the matchday squad now, as well as Galloway. Is he injured or just not fancied?
Well, I've give it a few days to cool off..... Rant time.
There's some many problems at our club at the moment but on the pitch and off. I heard a rumor, some of the players got a private taxi back on Saturday rather than get the team bus - Say's it all about our club at the moment, talk about a terrible squad harmony. Some of the players we've got are on long-term contracts and we can't shift them on. Players like Kone, you can just tell they're going through the motions. Then we've got Cattermole who has regressed to such a point, he's now incapable of running, woeful on the ball and his passing is even worse than normal.
Brentford virtually gave us 3 goals and we still couldn't see out a 3-1 lead against a team even worse than us defensively (that's saying something).
Grayson is clueless and still doesn't know his best team, his tactical substitutes are confusing, I've watched every minute of every game this season and I still can't work out what our game plan/strategy is. Is he trying to make us a side good on the counter attack? Not really, are we a team who likes to keep the ball? No, our players aren't capable of ball retention (Except Ndong). Are we hard to beat? lollollol Well, I don't need to answer that. I genuinely believe our reserve/18 under side could beat our senior team.
Our lack of movement is scary, players don't seem to know where to play, there's just a general confusion as to what Grayson is actually trying to do here at Sunderland? Other than take us down to League 1 and create a new chapter of misery, in an already packed book known as 'The eternal suffering as a Sunderland fan'.
Our fitness is another concern, players blowing our of their backsides after 70 minutes, and it's no coincidence we concede a lot of goals in the second half. Has this problem been rectified? No, of course not, that will mean Sunderland doing something pragmatic and useful.
I wasn't naïve coming into this much-changed Championship, I knew it was going to be a struggle, I knew, our money woes meant Grayson has been asked to do a virtually impossible task, I also knew it was going to be harsh reality shock. However, what I do expect, is to see players in a Sunderland shirt, fighting for every ball, and fit to wear the shirt. This current lot, are a bunch of mercenaries and chancers who just don't care - That hurts the most.
I must say there are excpetions, Watmore for exactly, play's with a passion and desire and grafts his nuts off for us, McGeady another one, but there surrounded by loosers and cowards.
I'm not going to even mention our owners and problems off the pitch, I'd still be typing next week......
I've not aware this he is injured. I can only assume, he was took out of the squad for other reasons. It's odd, as he was playing well for us and was settled in our back-four and doing well. He wasn't looking amazing, but he was calm, tidy and fairly consistent - Just yet another bad/weird decision for Grayson to exclude him. Whether something has happened internally, I'm not sure
Really depressing to watch the team I love fall to such low, dull, erratic lengths, I can't relate to any of the players as they just don't care- Why should I? Well, because I'm a mug.
We need to pay heed to the likes of Sunderland and Villa and Leeds. You go down, you are in the madhouse and there ain't no guarantee that you'll recover any time soon.Redact the names copy & paste into any of the many EFC / Koeman threads

One of Sunderlands problems is for years they have hero worshipped players like Cattermole and O'Shea, players that have been integeral in the constant battle to stay up because they fist pump or issue the battle cry after another dismal defeat, recruitment has been awful for years, spending millions on players who are then let go on a free or a lot less than bought for,the whole set up looks shabby from the top right through to the ground with its dicoloured seats and general untidiness, unfortunately thing look like getting a lot worse before they get betterIt's awful mate. It's just so competitive, fast, and full-on. I don't think you'll be anywhere near the bottom 3 come May, but, you're leaking too many goals and results aren't good enough.
If Sunderland are sent to league 1....Well, it would be a catastrophe of epic proportion. I don't think we'd ever recover....
I'm just fed-up of Football at the moment, disillusioned with it. It seems the only way to truly prosper is for some billionaire owner to take over your club and invest a 100m in transfers.
Sunderland are sinking, action must be taken to get Grayson out of the club and Short can go too, I'm tempted to tell them all to bugger off and we can start from fresh.
Depressing state of affairs. I hope you sort things out soon mate, you've got too much quality in your squad to stay where you are.

Pretty much all of what you say is true, its a club that should be on equal footing at least with the likes of WBA,Stoke etc, like i said I cant see things getting better,I dont know much about Grayson and have only really seen highlights on channel 5 which is basically the goals but there doesnt seem to be any system, tactics or fight on the pitchNail on head mate (little but blunt but you're right ). I myself, have said virtually word-for-word what you said to fellow mates/fans and I was deemed mental for suggesting part of the problem with Sunderland is the core of players we have. I have never been a big fan of Cattermole, I admired his passion and appreciated what his job was for us (Press the opposition, keep it simple, make interceptions, do all the 'dirty' side of football sort-of-speak) but the truth is, he's a very limited footballer, who offers nothing going forward, had a tendency of getting sent-off (He has sorted that side of his game out if fairness) and will make safe sideways passes rather than try and bring it out and look for the better option.
A lot of Sunderland fan's seemed happy enough with him winning a 50:50 ball and when people talk about Cattermole, you get the old "Least he tries" line regurgitated time and time again. He had 1 good season, amongst 3/4 very average ones. For some reason, he was immune to stick from elements of our fanbase. When he joined from Wigan, he's job was to help keep us up - He succeed, that was the time when we had to upgrade the quality we had and we failed miserably. Our recruitment has been nothing short of disgusting. I could give you at least 30 names who we signed who you won't have heard of after we paid (at times) reasonable money for them. Instead of upgrading from the likes of Larsson, Cattermole, John O'Shea we stood still and built our team around them players, who weren't good enough to really take us forward.
Incompetence from the board, successive management failures and a woeful recruitment policy has ruined us.
Did Sunderland lose again??????
Monday is just improving rapidly with that info and Cowhead getting blasted
Edit: Just a draw. Disappointing.
Aye but apart from this.......Well, I've give it a few days to cool off..... Rant time.
