Aye he has moved on and left us in a right mess. Don't normally wish bad things on former managers but hope he takes them down and never works again
He won't last until the end of season there mate.
It will be the end of his managerial career.

The bloke is unreal.
He's hated at West Ham already and they haven't even kicked a ball yet under him.
That's what I call getting off to a flyer lol
To be fair no one could succeed at that rotten hellhole of a club, Sunderland
Liquidation and more importantly new fanbase needed
I know you'e only saying this to wind people up. You'e being deliberately inflammtory to Sunderland, hoping for a 'bite' to justify your hatred. It was funny at first, now it's getting dull.
Okay, I'll bite....
Our fanbase is the only thing about Sunderland that is, has, and always will be - World Class. That isnt even debatable. Our support is outstanding, especially considering we've had nothing to justify it on the pitch. We sell out away matches without fail, yes our crowds at dropped at home but that's only to be expected. Some people aren't going as they are glory fans and only attend premiership or Newcastle derbies, some aren't going as a protest to Short, and some simply can't be bothered with watching us lose - again. However, even with all of that said, we still have the biggest crowds in the division, with the exception of a few clubs like Leeds etc. I've no doubt the fans will come back, they just need a reason too.
Hopefully, a new manager and a decent result will start that process. So, to summarise, you're talking out of your backside as usual. I'll be happy to dish out some stats about our support/fanbase to prove that point. I know how you love your stats.
Liquadation isn't going to happen, ever. Please, feel free to quote me on this. So, again, you're wet dream of coming on here to shout "You're going bust" (followed by them dancing smiley things you love) is a fabricated fantasy of yours.
You're not exactly short of ammunition to toss at us just now, but slating our fan base & liquidation? Well, you'll have to do better than that mate!
Sunderland are in a right mess. They are in massive debt which has seen mass redundancies and they spent a whopping 1.5M in assembling a new team in the summer, despite the Pickford money.
Sacking Grayson was just the latest example of the weak management backing the truly awful players over their managers.
They should have stuck by ONeill all those years ago or, perhaps better, Steve Bruce. They have been in a steady decline ever since and it seems to be reaching crisis point
Put him on ignore mate.

The fan base still pine after Sam, but he was going to walk regardless of England due to the lack of transfer money. Even when they bought players last year they could not offer attractive wages.Yep. Its a mess. The owner couldnt, or wouldnt, flog the club as a PL one, hardly going to be easier now. No further investment forthcoming, written off as a tax loss. Sad to see.

Do you think sacking Grayson was a wise move? Seems kneejerk in light of the fact they had no manager lined up. Stockwell as manager!Nail on head. I thought we were far too hasty by getting rid of Martin O'Neill. He's a proven successful manager, he has a very good CV which justified in giving him more time. But, the football on show was terrible and negative (Not quite as bad as Moyes mind) and his signings were horrific.
Martin O'Neill & Sunderland seemed a perfect fit. I was gutted it just never worked out.
You'e right, the rot started years ago and it has just got gradually worse.

You are correct by saying we're absolutely terrible just now. I can't argue that mate.

like Cattermole, who we can't shift on.
Most importantly the squad lacks quality in all key positions, particularly in goal. To make matters worse some players prefer boozing to training and there is almost no team spiritStadium of Light capacity: 49,000
Average 17/18 attendance: 27,746

Hopefully the inner fire of believing you are a 'world class' fanbase helps keep you warm in the just over half full stadium
Considerably less than Villa and Leeds and marginally more than Derby.
How many times are you going to think this before you understand it is a delusion?
