Fair enough, maybe I'm being harsh on Kilbane. He did go on to have a decent spell with Everton, plus he played over 100+ times for Ireland. So, yes I'll take him back. He was very unpopular here, especially in our 19 point relegation season, plus he refused to sign my cousins autograph point-blank, so maybe I'm holding that against him (still). lol Certainly wasn't great for us, but not our worst.

Andy Welsh.
John Oster.
Christian Basilla.
Jeff Whitley.
Tommy Miller.

That's properly more appropriate.
Funniest thing I ever saw on a football field was the time killer managed to pull his own shorts down with his studs and was left in his undies trying to laugh it off...hillarious

Huge win. Wasn't a great game, (that's probably a huge understatement) but we defended well and held out.

Having watched Hull, they're absolutely awful. They actually managed to make us look a good team! lol

Burton are gone, I can see Hull going down too on todays evidence. So, that leaves us fighting it out with Millwall/Bolton etc. You always get 1 mid-table team getting dragged in too.

I'm hoping that win means the players can relax more at home, because our hostile atmosphere was 100% rubbing off on the players. They were scared of playing a 'risky' pass, they were hiding and they bottled it. Today, we had a freedom to our play, I've not seen that for months. Of course, Hull were that poor they allowed us to go for It. We'll have much harder tests. We'd have drew that or lost it under Grayson. Coleman is doing very well, he's put faith in the younger lads, dropping the senior flops.

I'm not getting too carried away, as last time we had a great win v Notts Forest away, we lost to Birmingham at home. I hope we can build on this. It was a must-win, we did it..

We still desperately need an experienced forward, too much pressure on Asoro to get the goals. Delighted he got the goal today, but he needs help. If he gets injured, or his goals dry up - We're goosed. I'd love to see Jon Walters come to Sunderland. Even at 34 will run his knackers off and get 5-10 crucial goals.

What's evident is we're a million miles away from where we want to be - Promotion. We could easily spend 10 years in this Division (assuming we stop up).

@orly thoughts? ;)
