It's very sad what's happened, a club like them doesn't belong in League 1 and I hope they manage to escape the drop. They need to invest in youth, there's got to be fair few youngsters with ability up in that part of the world who'd take up the challenge of getting the club back to the big time rather than sitting in some PL club's reserves? Surely it would help bring supporters back to the stadium knowing they'll be watching local lads with hunger instead of foreign mercenaries who took them down in the first place.

I hope we see them back in the Premier League soon, I really do. It does look very bad at the moment though, hopefully Short will be gone before long and the club can really start afresh because it can't get any better whilst he's there.

We bought their best youth product off them for loads though.

He's now picking the ball out of our net rather than Sunderlands.

I think its translated to " we gave it bertie big bollocks when we had a new ground and got lucky with Kevin Phillips smashing them in, battered everton on monday night football, laughed at them and now it's coming back to haunt us ? "
I mean I was thinking more of the bloke in the Newcastle kit, but I can’t disagree with anything you’ve said there

They do a half time crossbar challenge, the fella in the horse abusers kit had done a sponsored walk I think for Bradleys charity and took part in the challenge and won

Half right. He didn't win. It was all being packed up and they were all walking off the pitch and as they did so he decides the kick the ball and hit the crossbar.

It was all in good nature and the second best part of the match after warming the hands up after my half time wee.
