Worried for Sunderland tbh, they showed almost nothing - thought moyes may have got them working harder defensively as a unit by now but they were all over the shop.

We were very good though. Keep that up blues!

Let's be honest, Sunderland are really, really poor.
Seems to be the same thing with them every season the last 3-4 years,an owner who just won't spend enough money.

Their luck will finally run out this season, they are awful but still cannot take anything away from us as we really put them to the sword and punished them without getting out of 2nd gear.

Credit to the manager and coaching staff this summer as we look really on it fitness wise.

One thing I like about Ross is he doesn't hide when things are going bad for him.

His bad display was so noticeable in the first half because he never stopped trying to impact on the game.
Maybe he might want to try that sometime, for the sake of the rest of the team...

Alright lads. Sunderland fan here, sticking about cos I signed up to say thanks for the Brad thing.

Think you've been a little unfair on us on this thread like, we matched you first half, and but for Defoe putting over and gooch cross/shot going close it could have been a different result.

Hats off to your manager like, the sub, and switching bollasie to the other side absolutely destroyed us. Excellent from your manager.

On another note, lamine Kone has just signed a new contract today - still reckon you'll be back in for him in Jan like. He's probably been advised by the agent to squeeze us for as much wages as he can.

Hi AS.
What did you make of Moyes's very pessimistic comments before the Everton game?
He use'd to do this all the time when he manged the Toffee's. The perception was that, we went into games psychologically defeated before a ball was kicked.

You can, I suppose, view his comments as realistic and honest, or another example of preemptive defeatism.

Anyway good luck for the rest of the season, at least you don't have to play the deluded barcodes.
