Make that 30 years give or take....1 cup win in that time...it gradually wears you down and becomes frustrating....a lot of prem sides have library type atmospheres nowadays. Glad I saw the 60s and 80s sides.

Goodison has been terrible for years now, Somthing changed in the latter years of Moyes. Whether it was the fans finally breaking and giving up after years of crap or the penny finally dropping that things weren't going to get better for a long time (if ever) is difficult to say but things have certainly haven't been the same since. I really do think a singing section is the answer at this stage, yes it would be an embarrassment that we've had to resort to it but I'd rather be embarrassed while some of us at least sang and created a positive atmosphere to support lads then be embarrassed while sitting in silence with only the away fans and the occasional shout of abuse at our own players to be heard!
