Thanks mush. I read a lot of replies ridding themselves of blame and saying it is the Football standard instead. If that is the case then why do the lower league lads (like us!) sing and back the team? The Football is terrible the further down you go but there are still lots of good lads turning up week in week out and giving a push to their team.

Or maybe the lads who have stopped caring like some on here retire to the pub where they can sit in silence and peace! Get behind your boys and help them give more for the cause!

It's not the quality of football, it's the style. We set up in our last two home games with no intention to score and 11 men behind the ball. You can't get behind a team who are not interested in winning.

I sincerely doubt many teams down the league play in such manner.

Never been the same since all seated stadia.

Away fans are always noisy, ours too, but at home its like a library, and most of us are watching the footy to see if there is anything remotely like good enough to cheer. Or even clap.

Our latest chant seems to be "tern" at full volume, nothing else much lasts longer than an isolated few seconds. Unless there is a poor reffing decision or a dirty tackle by the oppo (or us when it is cheered) the crowd are very passive.

I think many have lost the will to cheer any more.

Who is giving you dirty looks when you try to sing mush? I pay 350 for my seaso. How are Everton’s ticket prices compared to the rest of the Prem? Are they expensive so you get middle class lads who don’t sing?
You get It all the time. Sometimes its the young hipsters that don't want to sing because it's beneath them but occasionally sing tripe like "we only sing when we're winning" and other such embarrassments because they think it makes them look clever rather then the laughable self parody they are. Or maybe it's the grissled old arseholes who do nothing all game but nod with approval when they see somthing they like or tut and shake their heads with a nasty knowing little grin as though they saw it all coming and could of prevented it when they see somthing they didn't like.

I think the premier league has attracted a certain type of fan who wouldn't be caught dead at the match if it wasn't seen as a "cool" thing to do these days. I basically pay £500 (485 to be exact) for my season ticket on the early bird renewals (which is coming up soon and always makes for a lovely conversation with the missus!lol). In all fairness there's not that much difference but that's a lot of money to most people to only get half arsed efforts from the players most weeks.

Mush it makes me sad to read you have the worst support in the Prem there. You sing loud song proud though and if someone doesn’t like it then smack them in the chops and they will soon learn!

I don't think it's uniquely bad in the premier league. Most premiee league sides have abysmal atmospheres unless they're doing well, fighting for somthing or against rivals or are new to the league and are just buzzing about being there.
Mush it was the worst Home atmosphere I have heard for many a year. Who has worse in the Prem?
