Team vs Swansea:

Howard

Neville Heitinga Distin Baines

Naismith Fellaini Pienaar Mirallas

Osman

Anichebe

Subs: Mucha, Hibbert, Jagielka, Oviedo, Gueye, Coleman, Vellios.

Unavailable: Gibson, Jelavic (both injured); Barkley (on loan).

Can't see us winning this at all in all honesty.
A draw would be good followed by a win at Elland Road and a win at home.
Missing both Jelavic and Gibson could prove the difference between a win and a draw, but I do think we have a lot of quality in Mirallas who should be upfront, not Anichebe.
Give Velios a chance, and have the same team against Newcastle, would like to see Heitinga for once, he deserves to start.

Nailed it - "General good haphazard company but they’re a nightmare when drunk, inherent sex pests and liable to end up motionless in your front room pissing their own kecks"

That's why I love the South Welsh loons...

Also Swansea are missing quite a few players: Chico, Taylor, Bartley, Agustien are all out.
And Williams, Graham, de Guzman and Britton are all doubtful, so I would say they are struggling a lot more than we are.

...can I invite you to read my Swansea-centric match preview for Saturday's game. Best of luck for the season. Respect.

It won't let me post a link - go to pierre91 in a day. Thanks.
Welcome mate. good write up. Not sure many of us blues will agree that Neville never lets the team down. Most of us would prefer to see the dog from the 1912 photo in the midfield.

Newcastle fans and their assorted small time behaviour who will have been in good cheer on their four minibuses back to Scotland.

Haha. Is right, what a ****e turnout that was.

Obviously exactly what we needed was Jelavic throwing himself into a post for a disallowed goal. He normally walks like he's a first time pile sufferer anyway but you could see him struggling as the game went on. Word is that he's fifty fifty for it. In his absence there will be probably be Victor who needs to magic some PR from somewhere with his own fans as he caused more furore on Monday than foreign photographers taking photos of our future Queen's little taegs. He's the pantomime villain of the Park End. A bit of hard work and couple of goals should make it blow away, with some luck.

Easy son, tut tut :)

Good preview mate. RFUS is right, you're working hard at it at the moment. Keep it up, with Viagra if necessary.

"inherent sex pests and liable to end up motionless in your front room pissing their own kecks."

This, and " he normally walks like he's a first time pile sufferer" had me psml.

Great read as usual sir. Hopefully we'll sneak this but I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't.

Howard
Hibbert Jagielka Distin Baines
Mirallas Heitinga Osman Pienaar
Anichebe Fellaini

I think Moyes will go for:

_________Howard
Hibbert Jagielka Distin Baines
______Neville Osman
Mirallas ____________Pienaar
______Fellaini
____________Anichebe

Heitinga could come into the side, but otherwise he doesn't have a lot of options to change things round other than shuffling a couple of positions.
