Player ratings:

Howard: Probably his best game so far, some cracking saves and deserved his clean sheet. 8

Coleman: Did okay, some decent link up play but not confident with him at full back. 7

Heitinga: Decent game, cleared when he had to and looked comfortable on the ball. 7

Jagielka: Superb. Stand out moment was the block on the line towards the end of the game. Best defender. 8

Baines: Had a good game and another assist for Fellaini's goal. 7

Mirallas: Took his goal well and got involved, still looks like he needs more games to get up to speed. Promising. 7

Neville: Still worried whenever he plays in midfield. Game away a needless corner but otherwise his passing was okay today. 6

Osman: Quiet game from Ossie but he did well. 'Neat and tidy' sums his game up I think. 7

Pienaar: Worried them all day and was constantly fouled. Still loving having him back. 7

Fellaini: Slight handball for the first goal but you could tell Swansea were terrified of him. Wasteful finishing but got his name on the scoresheet at the end. 8

Anichebe: If he put this much effort into every game then a lot more fans would be on his side. Did his job, scored a goal and looked a threat. One of his best games for the club to date. 8

Subs

Oviedo/Gueye/Naismith: All looked like they wanted to get involved, but the game was over when they came on. N/A

Thought it was fine. "Cavalier" is a good word for Fellaini when he plays a more defensive role. One of Howard's low saves was down to Fellaini completely switching off.

It would have been just like us to have 20 efforts on goal and score 2 and then for Swansea to have a 10 minute spell of dominance and score two scrawpy (?) goals. I'd have preferred to see us tighten up defensively and hope to add a third on the counter rather than carrying on playing in such an open way.

That wasn't Neviles fault. He telegraphed the lob to Coleman who was switched off again in defence. Mirallas got Coleman out of trouble lots of times today. Coleman is NOT a Premiership right back.

Definitely Neville's fault. There was no reason to attempt the pass, which was why Coleman wasn't expecting it, and it was a poor ball in any case. I have no problems with Seamus being our right back for years to come.

Fantastic match! Only downside was that we were a bit sloppy after 70th minute, granted the team was bagged. A bit funny how last season we always seemed to score in the last 20 mins or so and this season we've scoring in the first half.

I thought Anichebe was great but I think he plays a bit to deep at time, that he should pressing against the CBs more.

We kept a clean sheet with Coleman at RB! Seriously I thought Coleman did just fine at RB, he knew when to stay back and when to go forward. It was refreshing seeing our RB charging into the box and whipping in strong crosses. I think Mirallas drifted inside a little too much but I think their partnership looks very promising.

I think our CBs were a bit shaky but wow Jags distribution drastically improved overnight. Johnny looked a bit off but it has been a while since his last PL start. Still a clean sheet and I think Johnny deserves another start.

Got up late so just finished watching. Only complaint is we should have put 5-6 in today. Goal difference matters. Other than that, I've never been so made up about an Everton team. We're boss.
