Based on his form this year, another year shouldn't be an issue. He still looks damn good out there. And we still need a few veterans. For instance, I think he looks better than Neville.
 
he has undoubtedly been one of our most consistent performers this year, my only worry is that at his age his pace will start to decline rapidly very soon. that being said he's showing no signs of it yet, and has good enough positional sense when marking that aging shouldn't hurt him too badly.

an experienced player like himself has to be great to have around duffy / rodwell on the training ground as well.
 
2 year extension would be nice.

He has always been a player in peak condition so he will last 3-4 more years, been a brilliant performer for us this season.

Oh and he's sexy.
