Takeover bid by Peter Kenyon

Winning the “right way” (if that even existed) died a long time ago. You win nothing being the good guys. The club harps on about the peoples club, great for the community etc etc, it gets you nowhere on a football pitch.

If people want us to win things there going to have to accept that it comes with blood money. There’s no nice billionaires. The Saudi’s have come in and everyone else in the league has taken the moral high ground. 99% of football fans didn’t care about Saudi’s human rights record before that, and they wouldn’t bat an eyelid if we were in a position where we had the opportunities they have.

They said on the Twitter space, that if this take over goes through, we could have the second richest owners in the league? Although won’t be able to spend due to FPP

It's not even about spending, it's about having forward thinking professionals in charge of the running of the club, people who understand marketing and communications and have a vision for us as a club

Are these people all of the above? I haven’t got a clue. But what I do know is Rod, Jane and Freddy (Bill, Mosh, Baxendale) certainly aren't anywhere near the level required to move this club forward. In fact, we were one game away from being finished and people need to remember that. If we'd have gone down, Bungle, George and Zippy would have looked like a real attractive proposition compared to the knobheads who have overseen our demise

You think appointing Benitez knowing the division was from a good place?

What about keeping the same useless leadership team in? Good place?

What about the fact we can't now spend a penny and have an agreement with the FA regarding our transfer activities? You can forgive that?

How about banning AGMs etc? Or putting ticket prices up?

Do I think he wanted to cause damage by hiring Benitez? Of course he didn't! He's not trying to cause self harm. He looked at the CV and the way he interviewed and thought it was the right decision that fans would eventually get behind if we did OK. It's easy to say in hindsight but if we kept on winning like we did at the start of the season then who knows.

Yes I can forgive the transfer situation as we brought in Ancelotti and we had to back him. Not getting at least Europa league that season probably screwed us over.

AGM's mean nothing anyhow, all lip service, when we had them what good were they? As for ticket prices, were they always going to remain the same despite inflation going up like a rocket? You could equally say least they didn't put it up for 6 years.

The board make up is probably the one that irks the most but the fanbase here is split with Kenwright haters and lovers. He might have thought damned if I do...

Again he didn't buy us to ruin us, so the decisions come from a good place - it's his money so he is the one MOST interested in it working, but it can come from a good place and still be wrong. A lot of people seem to think buying a club and getting in top players is easy, I would suggest all the evidence points to that not being the case.

With respect under Moshiri we have..

Had rising ticket prices
Poor football operations
No communication
No improvement off the pitch
Fans an afterthought in almost all decisions
Break FFP regulations
Sell all our top players
Start a stadium build on a credit card by the look of things.

What exactly can these guys do worse?
Not to forget binning off the bloke who designed the gorgeous stadium, and who seemed to have really immersed himself in the club’s traditions and history.

A fairly minor balls up compared to the rest, but so mind bendingly weird, it just illustrates how embarrassing things have been in the boardroom.

This blew over quickly but I still can’t believe they did it. Then, to be even more random, got him back involved. ?‍♂️

Means nothing. None of that money has anything to do with the football club but the businesses owned by the consortium.

Fulham and Leeds owners have double the net worth of Moshiri but spend 0
