All this over a game of togger...crazy really.
Yes this is why i don't give a toss really who takes over us or what links they have to whatever person or country as long as they can make us successful.

I get my buzz from supporting Everton by what happens on the pitch not what happens in the boardroom.

I want us to be successful on the pitch that's it!

I'm not arsed about taking the moral high ground because the money has come from this country, that country, this fella or that fella because they have controversial political views.
If we was arsed then Kenwright is the perfect guy for us and look how many people want him gone!

Even the RS fans turn on FSG after one loss. Despite all their 'success', they are still sell to buy
That will always be the case no matter who the owners are though really, it’s just the nature of football fans. Every time something goes wrong we look at an alternate reality where it wouldn’t have done; Arsenal and Spurs fans generally take the same view as Liverpool fans, while a lot of Chelsea fans used to get annoyed at the lack of patience and planning shown by abramovich. You just can’t win with a lot of fans, it always makes me laugh when some on here talk about our fans being a certain way when really it’s just football fans in general.

I think the worry is that if a buy out is leveraged by debt and we did fall out of the Premier League we could go the way of Derby and there may end up being no Everton.

We weren’t a million miles away from being in severe difficulties under Moshiri’s ownership. I think the main criteria for me are that any new owners run the club responsibly and effectively.

That's true but we would have far less chance of that happening (relegation) if we had people who knew how to run a football club.

Flip that and think we could have a successful team going into the new stadium if we get the right people in charge.

No risk no reward

Think Moshiri has enough money of his own so that wouldn't be an issue. This appears from what is being leaked by the press as a group of shadowy figures who are raising money from unknown third parties and as mentioned by others we could end up renting Bramley Moore on a season by season basis. Not an ideal situation.

I can understand this POV, but the worrying thing about this consortium is that they probably see the club simply as a money-making vehicle, like the Glazers etc.

I know you could make the same argument about Moshiri, but for all of his faults he still seems to show some consideration to the interests of the fanbase. I don't think you would get that from this group if they are anything like the company they keep. I don't have any faith in the notion that the club would have to be successful for them to make money, especially if they are interested in buying the club in its current state.
