Takeover bid by Peter Kenyon

What is clear now is that without the Usmanov funding, the servicing of our existing debt is unsustainable without a new inflow of investment from a third party.

Perhaps Moshiri has transitioned from trying to secure investment alongside his own stake to cutting his losses and deciding that owning a football club is simply not for him and that now is the time to hand over to the people who know how to run a professional football club.

Forgetting the unsavoury links to Bannon/Trump et al, fans should be bothered by the fachts that:

1. The named investors so far are wall of wolf street mogel types with no track record at any sports or interest in football.

2. Neither of the 2 named are wealthy by PL standards

3. Kenyon is a snake

4. Reading the article they are very private individual's shrouded in mystery.

Cant believe our fans are happy to just watch this go ahead without a whimper - at best this will finish us as a club with any future aspirations of success at worst they'll leverage buy the club and leave us in debt.

Can I shock you - I agree with you

Very true, just a shame football has gone this way really.

If I had time I think I'd just get into my local non league these days
My local side have just been promoted and they play in blue and white so it could be a plan.

Wall of wolf street moguls?

"Kenyon is fronting a group, including chief executive of Minneapolis-based Talon Real Estate Maciek Kaminski and American businessman John Thornton"

Stink of chancers looking for a quick buck from BMD.

Then there is this:

"Kaminski is said to be a very private individual and it is unclear whether his wealth is personal or if he has secured funding through his business interests.
Attempts to contact Kaminski, who was born in Poland and immigrated to the United States aged eight, have so far been fruitless but a source told Telegraph Sport: “Kaminski is the money behind the bid. There is not a lot of information out there about him"

So basically its a toss up between if the fella is legit or a bloke from a Manchester bedsit / fake sheikh full of bluff.

Nothing good will come from this takeover - if fans had sense they would mobilise before its too late.

Regardless of who the bidders are, why would we give them an exclusivity period rather than open it up to bidding? I see no upside.

To "Wolf Street" it is then!

It's a worry. You can't even find information on the fella by Googling him. That makes me queasy for some reason.

I second that. Moshiri is unsavory but fans I think should have more frustration with how he is conducting this process along with the single ownership group he is approaching. And expect a better group or at least options.

This sale is being done for very similar reasons the Chelsea one was. Sadly the fact our owner is not explicitly Usmanov is not doing us favors. Moshiri might not want to admit it but he has been large part a front, and frankly I think his pride is getting in his way from doing this respectably. I don't think he publicly wants to admit that he might not have the resources to fund the team effectively (not that he has even with a oligarch signing his checks)

The difference though in the Chelsea sale was it became a relatively considered process considering the circumstances. Considering the situation the owners seemed to have to publicly pitch their desires meeting with the fan group etc. If the exclusivity rights to the sale are indeed true I think think thats extremely disrespectful by Moshiri and the board to the fans. Especially considering the context and how poorly the team has been run. Not to mention the slew of interested parties for the Chelsea sale that missed out and the scale of our club. (I see little reason the likes of Stephan Pagliuca or the other owners wouldn't possibly have interest in Everton). The clubs owner being decided hastily and behind closed doors is inexcusable.
