For me it's very weird how Usmanov was linked with us then suddenly he buys out moshiri his business partner who then looks to buy everton. Call me cynical but does anyone think Usmanov/Moshiri have plans to own both Arsenal/Everton and will use almost a joint funds? If everton suddenly splash £100 million on players no one will bat an eyelid as Moshiri is a billionaire in his own right.

You certainly wouldn't have wanted him or his interest anywhere near the club...

Everton are the subject of a shock takeover bid by a Middle East billionaire, according to reports.

The Daily Telegraph are today reporting that Farhad Moshiri has moved ahead of an American consortium, fronted by John Jay Moores and Charles Noell, in the race to buy the Blues.
