These words about 'imminent' and 'in a few days' = wriggle room for when the whole thing comes crashing down.

The press are all cannibalising each others stuff at the moment and there's hardly anything of substance in it. IMO there's still an awful lot of 2+2=5 going on and it's not going be as simple as shareholder in one club sells up > buys shares in other PL club.

If it's imminent how does that happen if due diligence would no doubt have to be gone through?
Done before Xmas, taps nose.

Usmanov's people have denied he has anythinh to do with this take over mate

I'm pretty sure under FA rules that would have to be the case? Usmanov wants to eventually own arsenal outright which he couldn't do if he was involved in buying 75% of us, it would also raise question marks regarding his ambitions for arsenal if he was seen buying a stake in a rival PL club.

I just think this is massively coincidental, rumours of buying us then a day or so later buys out Moshiri who is his business partner/purchased shares with him at arsenal, only a day after that Moshiri emerges as front runner to buy everton with help of said £200 million raised from selling his shares to Usmanov.

Far too coincidental.

Might have something to do with the fact they've got a state of the art stadium and come from one of the largest and most wealthy cities in the world. Or yeah, it could just be down to Kenwright mismanaging ... lol
They didn't have a state of the art stadium when they were in Highbury.

Of course no one can be huge if they're not from one of the wealthiest cities in the world. Manchester United are minnows.

BBC Radio Merseyside is reporting it mate, they don't usually say 'in the next few days' without it being pretty good.
I just wonder about the logistics of it. Admittedly I have no idea about business practice, but it seems a bit too rapid a progress. If the news is to be that Moshiri and Co. will be given exclusivity to look at the club and make an offer then ok. But a completer takeover in days?! Someone would have to explain that to me.

A lot must go on under our noses.

Who knows how many suitors we ultimately had before accepting a bid?

He won us off Phil Green in a game of blackjack in a Monte Carlo casino

Imagine, just imagine the new owners began their first conference with ...

"The School of Science ... Is on it's way back"

Limbs ... Limbs and windmilling everywhere

Maybe David Dein is the link Dave?,I know he is big mates with Bill.

Strange that Moshiri would jump ship from his long term business partner just as they have the chance to fully own Arsenal ?

My reply was really more related to those thinking Usmanov using Moshiri as. Proxy to buy Everton.

I think if it is Moshiri he would know that he would never really have a day at Arsenal if Usmanov did take over.

This is an opportunity to call the shots

Stuff has been going on between folk for a good while longer, and in private?
