I honestly think the UEFA ECL is the most winnable trophy for us right now, even easier than domestic cups - with there only being one league spot to access it. The reason - no Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal etc. Sad reality but I'd love to win that right now (obviously not possible next season, but a little further along the line).
Cba with another relegation battle, but it’s probably where we’ll be. I just hope we get out of it earlier.

Well you said anyone who picks anything but 13th- 17th isn’t pay ing attention, so I said what about 8th.- 12th. earning if Everton finished 13th, your selection and my selecton finished 12th. then there wasn’t much difference, no big deal either way. So what about that?

I can reiterate my original statement if that helps you. Anyone saying that we will finish above 13th isn't paying attention. We won't finish 13th and we sure as mustard won't finish 12th. That's what I say about that.
To use your peculiar argument, if you say 8th to 12th, then why not 7th?! The answer, of course, is that the very suggestion is stupid and based on blind optimism and misplaced faith. All of the evidence, all of it, points to a bottom quarter finish.

I'd love to think we could be comfortable in lower mid table but without knowing our incoming it's hard to predict anything other than a battle to stay up again

Let's just wait and see what happens with transfers before melting down.
I don't mean that as a slight on anyone as I am a bit panicked myself but there's still a lot of the window left and the lads aren't even back yet.
I know they haven't given us any reason to trust them or believe a word they say, so I understand everyone's frustrations.
