Competent manager that will have us organised and a squad of players fit for Premier league.
But also a club further down the slippery slope, too slow to make the changes needed, and a fanbase even more demoralised than 12 months previously.

We're almost totally dependent on the promoted sides being worse than us. They might be, but that's a punt.

I very much hope I'm wrong but we appear to be scrambling about in the bargain basement looking for signings whilst trying to sell off anything that moves. This is after we finished one spot outside the relegation places last year, we have lost our best defender and can't even afford to extend the contract of our reserve keeper. It's looking bleak.
It’s not much use having a best defender, if he was, if he hardly ever plays, it seems that goalie knew what was going on re the way the club was run and got out,you are correct it is looking bleak, and has done for a long time and most of us know the reason why.

Sean Dyche and his coaching staff seem to have a good chance of creating some much needed stability in the club, let’s see what the squad looks like in the next few weeks and possibly it might surprise a lot of us.

Anywhere above 14th. Maybe a decent cup tilt. My hair can't take another relegation struggle. Just make sure the new ground is seeing Premier League footy.

I just want a season where we finish 11-15th, never really looking like we’re seriously in trouble.
I can’t believe that I’ve actually written that, but we have a long road back and the gap between us and the best of the rest is like a chasm, let alone the top 4.

Honestly with the news that we are going after 38 year old defenders and nothing much else. Let’s get that 23/24 relegation thread up and running. It deserves to be an actual discussion even at this early stage.

Changed my vote from 8th to 12th to 13th to 17th and i don't think we will even hit that. No matter how early it is for bed wetting, you can already see that boss transfer and contacts man Bill and pretend DOF aka I am a line manager Kev are leading the club towards a 3rd subsequent relegation battle that they wont get away with this time around.
