The GS titles are the only way we can determine who;s better than who.
If Djokovic wins on Sunday then that's unlikely to be beaten by Nadal and Federer is retired and well out of this conversation now.
It's funny that GOAT was always measured by GS wins before a Serbian is on the verge of becoming GOAT rather than it being a Swiss or Spaniard....that whole debate has gone dead in sports reporting now. More Cold War bollocks.
Makes Wawrinka's achievements quite superhuman. Not really as do we know any of them beat Sampras for instance on grass? GOAT talk is churlish, all I can say is there is significant doubt Djokovic is the greatest of his era, by the time you are supposed to hit your peak he was trailing behind the other two:

Djokovic picked up the pace just as Federer was coming into wind down if not standard retirement age and Nadal's body started breaking down due to how he plays the game. His immediate rivals JMdP and AM were never fit enough to take slams away from him and the younger generation had no world class players. This benefited all three tbh win titles deep into a point when they should have been put out to pasture. Djokovic is an outstanding player, with exceptional stamina and recovery abilities but the above table kind of puts it into perspective why he shouldn't be immediately classed as the greatest.
That proves nothing. Not really as do we know any of them beat Sampras for instance on grass? GOAT talk is churlish, all I can say is there is significant doubt Djokovic is the greatest of his era, by the time you are supposed to hit your peak he was trailing behind the other two:

Go again, look into Nadal's two year injuryThat proves nothing.
What does 27 years of age have to do with anything?!
If he gets his 23rd on Sunday then he's the GOAT...and that's after he was denied entry to the Australian Open 2 years ago and the US Open last year when he would have likely won both.

No sob story here bruvThe only thing that matters here is GS titles won, not sob stories.
It's simple: 23 > 22.
Djokovic will be GOAT by Sunday evening...the Serb is the best of all time. And no one will pass that record for a very long time.
As a tennis player, tennis fan, and Roger apologist, Novak is unquestionably the GOAT. He’s a machine. Not as pretty as Roger, but he’s the best pure ball striker and grinder ever. He’s incredible to watch. Just punishes the ball and opponentsMost slams do not mean the GOAT. Is Court the greatest female player ever? Said this till I'm blue in the face, Djokovic is the one of the very best competitors and he has a body made of granite to go this long without having to have years away from the court like Federer and Nadal have had.
Imho peak Federer and Nadal both beat Djokovic, away from Australia at least.
That proves nothing.

Around 25-27 is supposed to be the peak years of a tennis player. Both Federer and Nadal had nearly double the amount of slams by that age. Djokovic's later successes came as an avalanche when Nadal was starting to get injured more frequently and Federer was already 33.
Nadal is a drug ch£at. Please go and look it up everybody. That lengthy injury, then against a certain investigation.Around 25-27 is supposed to be the peak years of a tennis player. Correct on Alcarez, but Ruud has next to no chance against Djokovic. It's very possible Casper Ruud could beat Djokovic, he's on great form destroyed Zverev today.
Also I think that Alcaraz who lost to Djokovic will win a lot of french opens in the next coming years, he's great on clay and still only 20 and he's already gone to Semi Finals of the French and won the US open.
ThisCorrect on Alcarez, but Ruud has next to no chance against Djokovic.
