6 days ago we were united in grief at the loss of Howard Kendall. One of the great features of the day was the bringing together of blues from all generations, backgrounds, from around the world, some pro Bill, some anti - many ambivalent, yet none of that mattered, we were all Evertonians.

We're a broad church and we should have enough confidence in the institution that is Everton and our own beliefs in terms of the ownership/management issues surrounding the club to allow and recognise everyone else's right to an opinion and the expression of it.

Any group that flies a plane with a message or banner can only be representative of the members within their group. They do not speak for the whole fan base, everyone should recognise that.

Why are they an embarrassment? Is it because they care? Is it because they have bigger b0ll0x? I am glad they came along because at least BK knew his p1ss taking was not being accepted by all. Can't understand the agenda against a group that smells something bad at EFC and won't accept it.

No from what I see this is a group of like minded individuals who want to show their appreciation for the hard work and dedication Mr.Kenwright has put in over the years.

It's not for everyone but it's been a quite and dignified collection from what I've seen, without any vitriol or aggression associated to it.

So why does the Blue Union organising a plane make them an embarrassment to the club and their supporters?

I don't mind the pro bill plane even though i'm in the anti bill camp as it is their right as supporters.

Nothing embarrassing there compared to what Kenwright has done to Everton in the past. Taste of his own medicine really with his lies to the media, the axing of employers if they didn't tow his line. Finch Farm, Kings Dock.........The BU are actual angels in comparison. The BU get more abuse than they give out and are just standing up for there beliefs just like the ones against them. Tit for tat. Not an embarrassment at all IMO.

cringe...if they represent the anti-BK camp then I don't see a case to answer. The Kirby question was settled by a vote from the fans, Bill didn't decide the move was going ahead, the supporters did. That it didn't work out was, in hindsight, perhaps a blessed relief. But our chairman allowed the most supportive blues to have a say.

And who's next, Rodwell? You ask those BU lads now what they think of selling Rodwell for that amount of money and they'd all agree it was a great deal for us.


We've kept Barkley, kept Stones, signed Rom for a massive record fee, signed fantasy Del. Bill's done alright, ya know.

Defending Kirkby and the actions of the upper echelons of the club during the debacle is laughable quite frankly. There is a reason it failed miserably.

The point remains as well that Kirkby vote wasnt even representative of a fanbase; it was so heavily weighted in favour of the yes vote. Didnt over half asked to vote not even vote?

This plane may very well split the fanbase further than an 'anti Bill/board' message.

It will fuel the fires and hopefully that can increase the pressure for change.

if you are on about the meeting transcript, check the bit where he says 'are you getting this down?'. He knew they were recording the meeting.

I got a ballot even though I was in the middle of a 3 year break from my season ticket, I voted yes on the information I was provided by the club. Id imagine a lot of people did the same, shame on me for not looking into the project further tbh.
