Planet Earth. Everton have an average attendance around 38,000 and god knows how many around the country. This poll is like going to an EDL meeting and taking a straw poll that says all Englishmen are racists.

What an odd analogy. If this website was called www.wehatekenwright.co.uk then that'd make sense, but it's not. In my opinion GOT reflects a broad spectrum of posters, it's just that a majority of posters aren't overly favourable to Kenwright's reign as Chairman.

A plane will fly over Goodison Park carrying a supportive, thank you message to Bill Kenwright when Everton host Aston Villa on 21st November.

An Evertonian, Stephen K setup a ‘gofundme‘ page asking for donations “to thank Bill Kenwright for everything he has done for our club”.



The donation target of £640 was reached within a couple of days. As of writing, 74 people have donated a total of £890.

We asked Stephen for some additional comment;

I would like to donate but can't find out how?? I know the limitations but I agree with Stephen. We're one of the few clubs to have a chairman who cares and we have a club with a heart and soul.

The views of the keyboard warriors are the only thing that is represented here.

The views of the vast majority of people I come into contact with in and around the ground on matchdays are far removed from the rancorous and often very uncivil exchanges and differences of opinion we see here.

And when that plane flies overhead at the Villa game the overwhelming majority in the crowd will rise to applaud it and honour a man who is well liked among the matchgoing public.

Whilst there will be absolute fumeageddon on the GOT match thread as the Bill haters go into full rant mode.....
