So you get to keep any donations even if you don't reach a set target? So anyone could claim they have some rare blood disease, grew up in an orphanage, had to sell an arm, prostitute since age 2 ect... Get heaps of doe and no one would know its a sham? So how many of these things are pure BS then? I suppose having to meet a target doesn't really change any of that...

Is it just a great deal of trust from donors in some random Internet persons story? No way of validating where the money actually goes? Great way to make an easy living really

I'm pretty sure anyone can enjoy some nice cheese on toast, be them homeless, orphaned, one armed prostitutes or whatever, cheese on toast is for everybody, todo del mundo, not just the wealthy

People create them for all sorts of things, there's one some bird set up purely to get money for college.

She's got f all like.

If I donate to EITC I will make sure I show proof. I won't get a selfie with my local dealer though.
 
fkn great idea and would love for it to take off, (literally)

as for actually donating though is it OK if I just pretend I'm one of the anonymous ones ?
