It amazes me that people think that the majority of fans are anti Kenwright where is your evidence???
The evidence is to the contrary;
1; Evertonians backed him on Kirkby,
2/ On the day Blue Union managed to get enough people together for a proper march he got a round of applause that went right round the stadium.
3/ I have never heard an anti kenwright chant at any match
4/ I cant remember which match it was but there was a small protest out side goodison that about thirty lads took part in and no one seemed to be taking any notice of them.

Like every evertonian I want investment in Everton, but while we cant get it and sadly I cant see that changing, Kenwright is our best bet.
By the way its very possible Bill Kenwright might leave the Club shortly for the worst reason in the world, and it very possibly wont be an Evertonian who takes his place,

Where exactly did I say the majority of Everton fans are anti- Kenwright mate?

Don't you see Kenwright is the primary reason we can't get it?

Also, best bet? Based on what exactly? There's a massive list of reasons he's been a disaster for our club a few pages back, while you couldn't fill a postage stamp with the things he's done right.

Why don't you say it? This website is cross-representative of the club support.

My view is the majority of Evertonians are fully aware of what a charlatan the man is. Thing is, we're very passive as a fan base, and Kenwright isn't the pantomime villain of, say, a Cellino at Leeds, so even those who detest what he's done to our club can't really see a way of popular protest against him, as it'd be like kicking a puppy.

I've been at Goodison when he's been clapped; it's done by a minority while everyone else sits in stony silence, so the mics pick up the claps. And that's the general response from Evertonians - silence - because it's deemed "Kopite" to march or protest against him.

It's 10% vocal anger, 5% support and 85% complete apathy IMO.

I agree with you 100% there @Tubey. I was just asking that other fella to point out where I'd actually said it, because I hadn't, but for some reason he had quoted me as if I had.

I think apathy and lack of information are the key things. Last season for instance I was at the match with two match going mates, both in their late 20's, we got into discussing the board and they were questioning why I didn't support Kenwright. After 10 minutes of briefly outlining Kings Dock and Destination Kirkby they understood why, and amazingly up until that point they hadn't actually known many of the details behind them two situations, and then realised why I wasn't a BK fan

I live 300 miles away from the city but make an effort to be informed on stuff like that, but many, many others just aren't bothered or interested by it

As someone who has lived miles from Liverpool for 40 plus years, a non local/Everton perspective might be of interest. In other words, what non Everton fans miles from Liverpool mainly think/perceive about the club, and by extension, BK.

What they see is an enormously respected club. Literally, no one dislikes us outside the usual suspects. Well, suspect. At all levels of football.

They also see a club that isnt rich, hasnt been taken over a'la City, but has consistently gone toe to toe with "bigger", in their eyes, and certainly richer clubs. They caught 8 minutes a week, and saw us being, mainly, a pretty decent side as well. Not kick and rush, bus parking, rubbish, but good stuff.

Then they also saw the car wrecks of Leeds, Portsmouth, etc etc etc, and that has cemented their view that we are well run, well managed, and still a community based side in one of the most famous football cities in the world.

And they believe, rightly or wrongly, that Kenwright is the architect of that. Not the road block that a lot of Blues see him as. As do the vast bulk of a football media that is frankly, lazy, and not interested in the inner machinations of a seemingly well run club.

It is the classic, "Jet lands safely" headline situation.

We do ok, so no one notices.
