Clear right wing media bias in this country.

Last week Miliband was hammered for a supposed back bench rebellion after a game of chinese whispers. His position was called into question by several leading political editors. No firm source yet the media went to town on it.

Today we wake up to Cameron losing a second safe seat to a defected MP, his party is still openly divided over europe yet next to nothing. Sky go with 'Cameron vows to win back seat at election'. If the roles were reversed im almost certain the story would read 'Miliband at the point of no return as pressure mounts'.

Think UKIP might disagree.

But on balance, in the papers, certainly. Less so, or less obvious anyrate, on TV.

Just googled it. Still a bit baffled. She doesnt like the mansion tax cos she is rich, so folk want her dropped from a Littlewoods ad?

Not sure why rich pop stars cant have an opinion. And the mansion tax is a stupid idea anyway. Jeremy Vine gutted Balls the other week about it. Jeremy Vine ffs!

On TV the coverage afforded to minority right wing parties has always been far greater than left wing. Look at the coverage (Or lack of) the Greens have had in recent years despite having an MP, UKIP until very recently had no MP's yet they've been rammed down our throats by the media.

You'd expect a major politician to out debate a has been popstar regardless if it's a set up or not
This basically lol Her arguments like her attitude was hysterical and all over the place "just tax me this glass of water", wtf? Should have put her in her place really. You can't expect to enter into an arena with Putin if you can't deal with a dumb crazy failed singer.

I'm surprised just how much of a nothing party they've become. They don't represent the working man and woman, they don't represent the aspirational middle class, all they seem to represent is the guardian reading intelligentsia from London. Quite a shame really.
**** the aspirational middle class.

I tried to google Jeremy Vine to see who he is...ended up typing "Jeremy Vine ffs" lol

True. But then again, if you look at the zeal that the Greens central message, global warming et al, has been given by most media, where folk who pose an different view are routinely called "deniers", against the "racist" labels handed to those who support UKIP.......

I wish the Greens were covered more widely tbh. Their MP was on QT last week, and she makes a lot of sense on some stuff, but I think they get pigeon holed a bit really. Like I couldnt imagine a Green spokesperson being interviewed about the latest economic or foreign news for example. Which is a bit wrong really.

Aspirational working class better then? On my income, thats me at the moment.
Depends what people aspire to. Live a life in relative comfort so your health and well being is secure and you're not left exposed to a future of deprivation. That seems something reasonable to aspire to.

Middle class aspiration usually means accumulating all the trappings of status and chasing wealth.

I mistrust middle class people. I just dont like them by and large. They're alien to me.

You can't hold a rational debate with someone who is hysterical - that was the whole set up. He simply remained calm in the face of her Tory scripted rant and told her he was going to tax the rich - which she doesn't like.
