It's not just the poor who are being fleeced - the middle ground has been squeezed too. Where will it all end, one wonders. Can't be good for our society.
 

When you say people are ''breeding and breeding'' with no regard for the future, you come across as someone with a superiority complex sitting above a bunch of lowly animals who shouldn't be allowed to bring a life into the world for fear that you should deem it in poor judgment.

If you have a problem with children being born into poverty, maybe we should have a look at a living wage, unemployment, etc, as opposed to begrudging someone the right to give birth?

I never said people ARE breeding and breeding.
 

I don't understand this thread sometimes - it goes from having genuinely interesting debates to being a place for people to dump random newspaper articles and infographics that often suffer from the disadvantage of being wrong.

Not sure how I could elaborate much further - it's just a general observation on the varying and often erratic quality of this thread.

I think it's mostly really good. Debate gets worse the more personal it becomes, and that's sometimes the case here.
