So basically:

  • Banking Crisis global, not brought about by Gordon Brown or last Labour govt
  • University tuition fees trebled - expect to leave uni with £45,000 debt (barrier for the poorest)
  • Benefit capping has forced 50,000 vulnerable families out of London
  • benefit sanctions have caused dozens and dozens of suicides
  • The bottom and middle have seen living standards decline; the top have doubled their wealth since 2009
  • The UN is investigating the UK in relation to its treatment of disabled people
  • Food industry now regulated by, erm, itself. Well, that's going to work. See other industries for further madness.
Have I missed anything?

Yes mate, employment has gone up by millions, the UK is seeing yearly growth and outperforming almost all other major economies.......

Absolutely false to call it a barrier for the poorest.

Has it though, Peter? Has it? By millions? How's that, then? And if we've "grown" by so much, how come most people (ordinary, hard-working people) are worse off? Could it be that the top are laughing themselves all the way to the bank?

It just seems rather contradictory. We want our independence! Then we'll sign it away again!

The EU allows you to be independent, in that you control internal economic measures, whereas the EU limits your relations with other economies.
