I believe anyone who tries to shut down conversation or difference of opinion with slander has an element of facism about them.

People who lean strongly to the left are guilty of this time and time again. They complain about facism yet use facism to shut down other opinions.

Just for the record, regardless of our own individual political beliefs the mods allow a wide variety of views to be expressed.

I agree that the accusations fly towards you a lot though, I admit to being guilty as well, but it makes for good discussion usually (opinions can't all be the same and that)

Exactly. Opinions are what makes the world go round.

Accusing someone of being 'anti everyone' because they don't share the same opinion is just slander really.

Coming where I come from beig 'anti everyone else' wouldn't have got me far in life. Time and time again we see it though, usually without actually putting forward an idea of their own and trying to come to some sort of common ground. Just racism this, bigotry that. The reason I dislike the peaceful religion of islam so much is because I detest the above just as intently.

I don't see anyone trying to shut down your opinion, just arguing very coherently and rationally against it. However, you frequently bin off people's arguments with emotional language and labelling, as seen in your reply to Clint's post above.

And yes, I'm welll aware there are plenty of organisations well to the right of UKIP. I used to live in America.

It's quite a good thing about this country that our right-wing discontent is reflected through UKIP, I suppose, rather than someone like Golden Dawn. We don't really "do" full-on fascism, thankfully.
