They wont be relegated,rules changed after game 1 for the season,meaning no relegation or Promotion from wsl 2-----from next season the top league which will have upto 14 teams will be for FULL TIME teams only,meaning teams have to apply to be in it,any current wsl 1 team that are not full time will be put into a WSL 2 league [think it will change name of wsl 2] that will be part time teams only,i dont know how this effects relegation and Promotion when all this starts if they want to keep top league full time and 2nd league part time
Current WSL 1 teams have till 10 Nov to submit their applications, which will be looked at the FA women's board in Dec,any other teams outside the top league have to applly in march

Tonight it was the start of the Continental Tyres Cup group stage were Everton on a run of 3 straight league defeats were playing there 1st game against wsl 2 side Doncaster Belles who have a win and 2 draws from there 1st 3 league games.Everton were looking for there 1st win in any comp this season and a win is what they finally achieved
19 year old Chloe kelly again on loan from Arsenal for the season, opened the scoring For Everton Ladies on 6mins after getting onto a well-left through ball and stuck it past donny keeper Draycott with a good cool finish,Doncaster for the next 10mins had 2 chances both from Jess Sigsworth,the 2nd either a decent save or one that just cleared the bar,either way the restart was give as goal kick,on 24 MINS IT BECAME 2-0 to EVERTON LADIES from an og off Leandra Little,it was from a corner were the cross ricocheted into the goal off Leandra Little,who had no time to react. Sweetman-Kirk on 28mins a buy for Everton from donny belles was next to try her luck but the donny keeper held the shot easy,Sweetman-Kirk then had a shot blocked mins later,on 35mins Murray had a shot for Donny at the back post over the bar,and on 36 Simone Magill saw her speculative shot go wide for Everton,on the stroke of HT Evertons Megan Finnigan took aim from 35 yards that made Draycott make a great save to push it over the bar,2-0 For Everton was the HT score
The 2nd half began and it was so close to been 3-0 on 49 when Everton had a shot cleared off the line,a min later Olivia chance shot over the bar,there was then not much really happening during the next 20mins,Everton keeper Levell made a decent save on 72mins off Sigsworth who was the most likely scorer for donny,that shot was going top corner,Turner for everton then had a shot saved,seconds later on 73 Magill hit the post with a deflected shot from 20 yards,Newborough then cleared a Magill shot off the line to keep everton from gaining a 3rd on 82mins,but finally it WAS 3-0 ON 86 MINS when from a free kick from chloe kelly was cleared away, but only to marthe munsterman a dutch midfield player who tucked it away from just inside the box,the game ended mins later and a good win for the Ladies
