Don't know if it's just me and the fact I only get to see highlights of these games, but it seems there's real quality in terms of delivery into the penalty box when the Everton ladies get the ball out wide....Emslie, Raso and Sorensen in particular look to be top drawer looking to get to the bye line or deliver something that the other forwards want to attack......
Add Izzy to it as well a little, she has been putting in some brilliant crosses as well - Mostly angled crosses like the one for Gauvin that she missed [as seen on the highlights] - I think Sorensen has been brilliant up and down the wing as well as scoring the 2 goals she has so far - Emslie as you say is putting in quite a few and Raso is my Fav player who has it all is she use's the ball at the right time-unlucky not to score 2 and probably should have in Injury time v west ham-We have another game we should win sunday but the the England women play Germany Tuesday 27th were Man City have 11 players involved in the squad with our 2 with the FA Cup game been 5 days after that England Game [which is Live on BBC 2 with 3pm ko in Uk]

Arsenal already 3-0 up. Essentially you have to win every game in this league to have any chance of the title.

SUNDAY 18TH OCTOBER 1PM KO
WOMENS SUPER LEAGUE
EVERTON WOMEN 2 BRIGHTON WOMEN 2

2nd highest scorers and lowest conceders Everton women came into this match looking to make it a perfect 5 from 5 in the league v a Brighton team that have had a mixed league start, and were comming off a 5-0 Home defeat to Arsenal, but had also gained a excellent away 0-0 at Man City, Brighton came into this game having not won in 9 away WSL games with 8 of them been defeats stretching back to may 2019. Everton had won 2 of the last 3 home games v Brighton, the one Everton didnt win they were 3-1 up to only draw 3-3,while the last game between the both was 1-0 away lost to Brighton in Feb - This game was the last before a 2 week break were Everton would then go right into there biggest game of the season-THE FA CUP FINAL v Man City in what is going to be a tough week with games v man utd in the cup then away to chelsea in the league, Everton made 2 changes to todays team with Raso comming back into the starting line up with Captain Lucy Graham Graham replacing Sorensen and Stringer with Ex Toffee inessa kaagman back at Everton with her new Brighton team, Everton started brightly as they usually do with Brighton looking to catch Everton on the break early stages and it was Brighton who took the early lead on 9mins when from a brilliant whipped in free kick from Kaagman that unfortunately for Everton hit Toffee defender Sevecke in the face/head and flew in, after a bright start struggled a little touch before then getting back into the game, on 26mins Everton had a goal disallowed when they took a Quick throw via Raso and Gauvin is in on goal. The France international clinically finds the corner, but the referee halts play and signals for a Brighton throw instead. but just 2 mins later on 28mins Everton were level and what a goal it was from Izzy christiansen when she took a piledriver of a free-kick from around 30 yards out and it took a slight deflection off the Brighton wall and looped into the net. Brighton were close to retaking the lead when Kaagman's cross was somehow not turned home before GAUVIN was then a little unlucky when she improvised hooking the ball over her body but just over, Just before HT Everton claimed a pen when Gibbons looked to have blocked a cross with her arm in the area but nothing was give, but Brighton were largely frustrating Everton this half while looking dangerous upfront but half time came and it was 1-1

Gauvin after Brighton lost the ball then took a shot that was over at the start of the 2nd half, but up to now Raso playing on the left today was not seeing much of the ball, christiansen was moved a little further forward to play along side Gauvin, but Everton were so unlucky to not go ahead on 56mins when after a count attack via Raso [Chance below], she played in Gauvin on the right who then retuned the cross for Raso who's shot was saved near post by Brighton keeper walsh, the resulting corner Sevecke headed wide when free, Turner then had a free kick go over a minute later, Everton were starting to look more dangerous the later the game got and just a minute after i said that, Everton did take the lead on 71mins when from a corner from christiansen, French forward Gauvin ran to the front post and headed home past Walsh but the lead only lasted 7mins as on 78mins A neat well worked goal brought Brighton back level via Aileen Whelan the scorer of the only goal in February when she stretched in the area and put it into the roof of the net,Everton were so close to going back infront on 88mins when Turner ghosted into the Brighton area, and her shot from the tight angle rebounded off the far post, but just like the Everton men yesterday, today the Everton women dropped there 1st points of the season in a 2-2 draw

Everton women's superstar and most expensive signing to date Valérie Gauvin, scored the qucikest goal in french women's history last night.
scoring after only 10 seconds, the record was 24 seconds set in 2013

GAUVIN SAID
“It's a joy but also a pride. It's always good being an attacker to be able to mark history like that, it's not nothing! It makes me very happy ” she reacted at the end of the meeting.

Everton Women has signed a new multi-year principal partnership deal with MegaFon ahead of this weekend’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup Final.

Digital and telecommunications company MegaFon has expanded their deal with the Club, in what is the biggest commercial deal in the women’s team’s history.

As part of the agreement, MegaFon will receive branding on the front of Everton Women’s shirt, while mobile virtual network operator Yota – part of the MegaFon Group – will be added to the left shirt sleeve.

MegaFon currently appear on the sleeve of Everton Women’s and men’s First Team training kits, after a deal signed in 2019, which also gave them a presence on First Team matchdays and signage at Goodison Park.

Yota’s presence on the Everton Women’s kit marks the Russian-based mobile network operator’s first foray into English football.

The agreement will allow the company to tap into Everton’s growing international fanbase and increased profile following the side’s progression to the FA Cup final.

Willie Kirk’s team are also enjoying a flying start to the 2020/21 Barclays FA Women’s Super League (WSL) season, where they are currently undefeated and sit second in the table.

Both MegaFon and Yota will make their on-shirt debuts at Wembley as the Blues take on Manchester City in the Women’s FA Cup Final on Sunday 1 November (kick-off 2.30pm GMT).

The game will be screened to an international audience and broadcast live on BBC1 and BT Sport in the UK

The record commercial deal follows Everton Women’s move to a brand-new purpose-built stadium at Walton Hall Park in February of this year and the announcement in March that Everton Women would benefit from increased squad investment and a new leadership structure and strategy as the Club sets its sights on challenging for major honours.

The new strategy for the team includes the Club’s commitment to developing the Women’s commercial portfolio by seeking exclusive partnership opportunities.

Sarvar Ismailov, Sporting and Commercial Director for Everton Women said: “This partnership reflects the increasing prominence of the women's game and the exciting future for our women’s team.

“Securing exclusive commercial partnerships for Everton Women has been a key part of our vision and strategy for developing a team that challenges at the top of the Women's Super League.

"We are delighted that MegaFon has seen the opportunity to join us on that exciting journey.

"This is a truly international partnership and having a company of such a scale as a principal partner demonstrates the exciting trajectory for both Everton Women and MegaFon.”

Everton has a significant history in the women’s game – having been one of eight founding members of the WSL, as well as winning the FA Women’s Premier League, FA Premier League Cup and two Women’s FA Cups since originally forming as Everton Ladies in 1995.

Gevork Vermishyan, Chief Executive Officer for MegaFon, said: “We are delighted to further expand our agreement with Everton in what is a very exciting time for Everton Women.

“This partnership allows us to support the women’s game in England and be part of a club with huge ambition and an international reach playing in the now globally recognised WSL.

“We wish the Club the very best of luck for the Women’s FA Cup Final this weekend and the rest of the 2020/21 season, as we look forward to building on our strong relationship with Everton, Everton Women and their international fanbase.”

The MegaFon and Yota brands will appear on Everton Women’s home, away and third playing kits on matchdays.
