Absolutely gutted. We should have won, but Port were hard at the ball fired up by Ginnivan's banter on social media. He said to Brodie Grundy a former team mate at Collingwood, now at Sydney, "see you in 14 days".

Hinkley caused quite a stir mouthing off at the Hawks at the end of the game.

Very disappointing, but overall a season to give Hawthorn fans optimism going forward.

I wonder do Port Adelaide fans have mixed feelings now? It looks like they will be stuck with Ken Hinkley as coach for yet another year!

Can't even fill their own stadium for a final. Crowd was propped up by visiting Brisbane supporters.
Once their premiership window closes and they are footing the ladder again, they will be in a world of hurt. AFL will give serious thought to moving them.

I think most Port fans want to see the back of him. He holds the record for most seasons coached at a club without getting to a grand final.

Sydney Swans v Brisbane Lions is the grand final or South Melbourne v Fitzroy would be another name for it!

I'm not bothered as to who wins but hopefully we'll get a great game anyway.

I think Sydney will win. Seem to be peaking at the right time. Brisbane have been good to get there but think their best is not as good as Sydney. Brisbane also might have some injury issues.

Well done Crippa on winning another Brownlow medal! Hopefully he might win that premiership winners medal next year. Nick Daicos would have been a worthy winner as well, but i'm just delighted for Crippa.

Bruce Doull, Jezza and John Nicholls etc Patrick Cripps will be up there with those guys if he ever wins that premiership with Carlton imo.

Bont should rightfully be asking questions about the voting. How he was completely out of of the running is confusing. I understand Treloar also had a good season, but Heeney and Gulden were still polling considerable numbers each.

A belated congratulations to the Brisbane Lions on their flag win.

The Swans crapped the bed yet again in a grand final! Hopefully 2025 will be Carltons year!
