I keep telling everybody.

People think we have blagged our way out this, IMO we havent.
This is a Chelsea fan ? bit rich as they’re 1.5bil in debt to Abromovic

And they’ve been signed off by the league or whatever the right terminology is.
Nothing to see here

Again goes to show journalists and even some of our own fans scaremongering

Forgive my ignorance...
Would moshiri be allowed to loan us any money/write off any debt we owe him?

How would that affect the accounts?..

Just wondering as abramovich was apparently going to write off Chelsea's debts to him?
Having cash always helps but the rules are about how the accounts deal with losses. Of course FFP should have been all about debt but it isn’t.
The way in which Abromavich structured his companies and in particular Fordstam ( a holding company) and Chelsea’s Football Club Ltd meant that the football club itself is debt free but Fordstam who own the shares in CFC Ltd isn’t and that’s where the debt will remain and whilst I am not quite sure how they will eventually write the debt off my guess is that Fordstam will sell all their assets ( including the shares in the Football Club, the hotel, the various properties etc that are owned by Fordstam )

Much of the debt was accrued by Fordstam before FFP was introduced in addition the original sum that RA used to buy the club from Bates and indeed settle the Euro Bond ware included in that number.
As I mention above Fordstam is a holding company and if you know the layout at SB you will know there are two hotels, night club, sports club, flats, restaurants etc which are owned and where appropriate operated by Fordstam.

The vultures are circling.
Thing is anyone who thinking we haven't is clearly deluded, us getting done for it though is another matter, the whole game is bent with washed money, it would open up to big a worm can

Moshiris financial commitment? 10/10

His judgement in allowing an executive leadership team to remain in place after a quarter century of steady decline? 1/10.

A truely baffling arrangement going on in L4.
Moshiri granted Kenwright his wish to stay in control of the club after Moshiri had bought him out, can’t he sue Kenwright for the mismanagement of the club and the financial ruin Kenwright has overseen?

No. Arsenal was but Chelsea were not

I do wonder about the argument being put forward about player valuations because
1) every PL club would be shopping and or selling in the same market
2) Impairment should have been greater but the problem with that is the losses would have been even greater.

No matter which way you come at this the simple fact is that the income they Everton can earn at this point in time just won’t support the wage bill and the amortised sum in respect of historical transfers.
This is going to be get a whole lot messier and in truth does anyone on here really think the sum being claimed as COVID impact is justified?
Yes I believe what is in the accounts is correct.

Without knowing the details it seems the EFL rules are more fiercely enforced than the PL rules, with loads of clubs having been docked points etc, but what are the actual rules down there?

Are you guarantee to be in breach of them as soon as we are down, or is there room to manoeuvre if the worst happens?
