This team have enormous ability. They have made far too many mistakes so far for such a good side
250 is very gettable out there but they will need to accept it will be tough at times and they will have to dig in at times. Aussie bowlers will get movement from this track, especially tonight
Yeah i reckon you's got this one. And will do it with a minimum of fuss as well.Should be a straight forward enough run chase imo. Don’t think the pitch is that bad in reality. Decent opening stand already. Get 50/60 here and England are laughing.
Series deserves to be at 2v1 for me.
I made a couple of points against the bowling to Head, my point though a bit tongue in cheek was the hyperbolic criticism Stokes captaincy seems to get for any error despite huge success and doing his level best to save test cricket. Its led by upper class morons like agnew and fossils like boycott, agnew especially will have been itching for bazball to falter, if he can manage to speak with rishi sunaks balls in his mouth.Who were you having a go at in your original post by the way? Did you think England's tactics to Head and the tail enders was good?
100% attack won't work in tests. Being aggressive most of the time might work but good bowlers will bowl good spells and you need to see them off.To be fair you have been a bit of a crying bitch about this England team.
They have gone out all attack and I'm 100% behind it. Test Cricket needs this to save it.
It's tough talking cricket on here Walks, reminds me of the match day threads, the comment about having 2 days to get 250 and being out for 160 in 40 overs, christ, before mccullum took over England would have folded for 130 at 3 an over anyway. England's batsmen apart from Root are very average with very average techniques, the bravado of 'bazball' is what is giving England any chance of winning test matches. If only some of these armchair posers had a seat in the England dressing room, could teach Englands most successful test set up for a decade a thing or two about 'proper' cricket
