Potentially. But Root and Pope can rebuild.
The problem is if the ball keeps nipping around it will play into the Aussies hands.
If conditions remain like this for the rest of the match then Anderson and Broad will be unplayable
Australia are hard as nails when its required. Its why they are the best team in the world, I do not know if we have the same conviction/self belief.

Kev you talk as much nonsense about cricket as you do Everton.
Amigo you should have gone to the North West Audio Show instead.
The Kef blades on the end of the Naim system were exceptional
Kef blades what are they? On the end of statement system? 500? On the brink of going for a 552 next month, seen a not very old one for 12k which appears decent value.

Did you go the chord stand ? Anything new ?

Root is our best player. If he can dig in then we still have a very good chance. I don't have as much confidence with our other batters though, especially the top order.

About £22ks worth of speakers. SQ was fantastic but aesthetics were awful.
Interestingly they had them on the end of the new 222/250 . To be honest I think they were too good for the electronics but when I asked the demonstrator why he said it was to show that the 250 was capable of driving them.
They sounded fantastic but surely would have been a better match for the statement series.

The Chord room was chocker so I didn't bother.

The star of the show for me was a brand me speaker company ( to me ) Kerr Acoustics.

Had the opportunity to have a long chat with the designer and builder a young guy , Jess Kerr. Very personable , talented and sensible young man.

His entry level standmounters came in at about £7 k and sounded stunning on the end of a Primate system. I'd love to hear them on the end of my 282 / 250 and he promised me a home demo ( no local dealers yet - it must be so difficult to take a product from development to market).

I was also impressed by Moor per and Power amps but again they are absolutely huge and not really practical if you want to maintain marital relations!

Overall a great show.
