England should have beat them last week, they outplayed them for long periods
Today has just been dreadful. If you play like this against a good side you will get hammerred.
They picked the wrong side, they wasted the new ball bowling back of a length, they lost their patience, and now they have lost their composure. Stokes has to unfortunately take the criticism for it because it's been miles off the standards required.

I thought Australia were far too circumspect in the last match tbh. No one seemed to want to go for it, while we did. If it wasnt for Khawaja's dogged performance and an incredible rearguard display from the captain at the end, yes England win easily
Today Australia seem to have looked at that negative strategy and appear to have decided to cut loose.

It’s a tricky one. Think you have to forget him as a bowler and he’s just in there as a batsman (and captain) moving forward.
Such a pity that Archer and Wood aren’t fit to give that extra blast of pace.
I'm not sure about that tbh. Broad Anderson and Robinson weren't good at all today and bowled with no pace. You cant then take Stokes out of the bowling line up and expect the side to be well balanced.
For me he kind of has to be an all rounder to make the side balanced and effective. Its not working at the minute so he might need to play a test or 2 just as a batter but its not a sustainable option longer term.
