The Lyon injury could be big, but I still feel it’s a wasted opportunity.

Hope they just pick their shots tomorrow morning and play with a little more control.

Yep one of the current 2 at the crease need to get a big one. Brook Stokes and Bairstow are capable of eating well into this deficit but runs all the way will matter.

I think Robinson will probably bat at 8 rather than Broad tbh. Its a long tail though and I'd feel much more comfortable with a Moeen or a Sam Curran at 8

Robinson has a better technique than Broad so put him up the order. Broad can't keep the really good balls out anymore so he's right to try to score quickly while he's in. 20 or 30 from one of the tail could be massive.

Although Broad does have a 150 at Lords before!

Is it me or were Pope and Duckett both swinging at balls all through their innings like they were both playing with one eye permanently closed. Rash shots coming off hips and wrists and shoulders and the back of the handle and all sorts. Some mad twist and flail moves.

That series in the West Indies was awful. No wonder stokes’ knees are knackered after sending down over after over for 2 drawn test matches putting no pressure on the opposition.
