It appears there are a few players that have misjudged this wicket. Factor in that catches win matches and we shall see how superior the England bowlers actually are compared to how superior they consider themselves to be. 102 all out is a disgrace, and not something that can be blamed on missing KP and Fredo.
Hard to disagree with you..the real Aussies finally turned up yesterday and England where found wanting,in every respect.

Theres no real way that young Broad is a number 7 batsman,he just isnt that good,he is what i would call a bowler who can bat a bit,not an all rounder and i doubt he ever will be no matter how hard he tries,me i'd sooner have the bowling side of him as he's a fine bowler his runs are nothing but a plus for us.

I fear we may have seen the last of Flintoff going by his history if its his knee thats put him out of this game then that'll be it for 6 months,i hope i'm wrong though.

We should have played 6 batsmen this test at some point they where going to come at us hard i think given Headingleys fast bowler friendly wickets it was foolish to go in with just 5 speacialist batsmen.

I just cant see us turning this one around if they get a lead of 200 its pretty much game over and then onto the oval for a must win game.

Bopara has been a disappointment for me. Potentially great one day player, but can't adjust his game for the resilience required for tests. Agree with comments about Broad, I would persevere with him a bit longer, but at number 8.

I've thought our bowling has been generally poor for quite some time, and the lack of batting depth is glaring. Bell needed to really pull one out here and has failed again.

Any chance of three days rain? :dodgy:

Oh dear , oh dear , oh fukn dear .
Basically , we threw away the Ashes in 30 overs . Sorry , I've read a few posts about individuals , but bad fukn batting is bad fukn batting , and bad bowling , completely the wrong length , and line , for God's sake , is bad fukn bowling .
End of .
Convicts bowled O.K. Clarke apart , who I've thought shoulda been in from the off , they werent all that. Siddle bullied the tail and stole a 5 fa' .
The batting was lamentable . Get Rob Key in , NOW , for the Oval .
I've got a very , very bad feeling about this .

Oh , nice to see our Kangaroo Cousins are back fom the bush and are all bolshy again .
Some things never change .
Still be there on Monday , though .
Come on England !!!

This Pup , is some player , but wouldn't it be nice to just have to get him out , the once ???
Cardiff , Bham and now near knocking his glove off here ,and the pin - up boy of B Wing is off to another ton .
Life's a goddamned bitch .
Though , thankfully , he's just missed a full toss .
There is a God !!!

No doubt.

This has been one of the most pathetic day's performances I've ever seen from a test match England.

That was yesterday, today must be the most pathetic since.

Losing 5 wickets for 20 runs in forty minutes!

Another hour today and it would have been all over. Absolutely abysmal.
Over by lunch tomorrow, and on to the Oval for the decider.

Let's just call it one of the worst test match performances of all time and leave it at that.

Felt sorry for Broad.

Well the shambles just got worse..

Hard to know what to say really i just hope when and seemingly if we draw or lose the series (hell even if we win it by some chance) i hope the selectors have a look at a couple of players..

Harmison..sorry but he just doesnt do it for me and frankly hasnt done much of anything since 2005 so why do we keep on going back to him?

Collingwood..another thats looking past his best sadly maybe its time to ease him out or maybe even drop him if they feel he's just in a run of bad form, atm he's not done enough to warrant his place.

Bopara..has the class but maybe not a test player its happened before (hick, ramprakash spring to mind) nice to see they're giving him a go but what a series to give to him.

I've felt all along we've punched above our weight in this series and sooner or later the real Aussie side would turn up now they have and frankly we've looked terrible,i agree with LACB though why the wasnt Clark in thier side from the off? he's getting on a bit but he just loves our batsmen, maybe its not such a bad thing he wasnt, lol.

All over in two and a half days. An innings and 80 runs, shameful.

Agree Linglong, need to look at Bopara certainly, Bell didn't do it, Harmison finished. Broad after a the doubts came out with some credibility though.

Hope for better at the Oval.

Ah well we'll just put it down to a very bad 2 and abit days, we'll win it at the oval instead :dodgy:

Bring back Botham!
