The bending of PSR rules

Leicester are expected to argue that the losses from the 2022-23 season were a result of mitigating circumstances, such as an unforeseen relegation, the “unplanned expenditure” of sacking £8 million-a-year manager Brendan Rodgers, plus an estimated £30 million deficit from finishing 18th in the table.

Not sure this is the best argument considering a war and a stadium being built wasn't accepted as mitigation for us.
Apart from the relegation, didn’t we pretty much say the same thing? Had to sack *insert manager name here* and in our business plan had forecast a top half finish or something? And it was all ignored.

Do other clubs not read the verdicts of our commissions?

Given that all three decisions were wildly inconsistent it’s probably worth a punt

everyone brings up cities 115 charges everytime we get mentioned ( not even just our fans ) but Chelsea are the mad ones for me, they are blatently even in the middle of all the PSR restrictions just taking the p1ss for everyone to see.

the whole selling hotels to themselves, handing players 8 year contracts, signing 100s of players, they have spent more since the yank toook over than we have in our history it's just insane.

we should be on the phone every day to that bellend masters asking what the plan is for clubs like that given our deductions for relatively small breaches

Leicester will be interesting because a decent points deduction will all but make them massive favourites for relegation. The only reason there was any sort of battle last year was the PL giving us and Forest points deductions. They won’t want the bottom three cut adrift by January and no jeopardy at that end of the table. Equally they won’t want a load of appeals again. I could see a smaller points deduction agreed on the basis of no right to appeal.

They sold the women’s team to themselves a couple of days before the financial deadline for 23/24 as well, good on them. I don’t think you should punish them for showing just how ridiculous, poorly conceived and underprepared the Premier league rules are, it highlights just how inept the Premier league and the people who are running it are.
