The blame game

Looking from the outside in,I think if you had Delph at the start of his career you would have found he was an outstanding footballer. I watched his debut for Leeds he was better than anything since Aaron Lennon. The market is over inflated we lost money last year on a turnover of £189 million. Clubs like Leeds, Everton, without coherent investment and a decent scouting policy are always going to struggle. Brentford and Brighton are probably the best examples of how to survive in this league. Hopefully we are rid of Radz and Orta if we survive. Nice easy game tonight v the unmentionables who you want to win tonight.
Unfortunately we need as many in the mix as possible, so we need Liverpool to beat you tonight.

We spent £550m+ actual pounds on:

Niasse, Sigurdsson, Onyekuru, Tosun, Maupay, Funes-Mori, Iwobi, McNeill, Gomes, Doucoure, Walcott, Schneiderlin, Mina, Mykolenko, Allan, Gbamin, Klaassen, Godfrey, Keane, Kean, Bolasie and Onana.

A huge spending spree wasted. No club can afford to keep getting their big signings wrong.

We had to sell Lukaku because he wanted to go and after that the wheels started to fall off.

That summer of 2017 when someone allowed Walsh and Koeman to spaff millions on 4 number 10s was the beginning of the end… I don’t think we’ve ever recovered from that.

A bit off topic bit were going to actually make money on Kean. Can't really qualify that as a mistake. If w made money on half of our players we wouldn't be anywhere near the problems we are today.

And, honestly, the happy clappers are near the top for me. Ultimately it has to come down to Moshiri as this is his club and he makes all the decisions. But the happy clappers had audio proof that Bill fn Kenwright was strikingly out of his depth and nothing more than a conman. The happy clappers not only shouted down those who got the proof, they also applauded the fat mess who made us sell an asset to avoid the banks calling in the loans.

Yeah but when the happy clappers applauded him thuings were ok, compared to now under Moshiri. Disapointment at only getting in the top 6, that was seen as bad, only getting to a FA cup final, buying players like Stones and Lukaku, stability, we thought being a stable club was bad, then Farhad turned up and we seen what bad was really like.

I think scrambling to sell one of our better players to not send the club in to administration wouldn't necessarily be classified as going "ok". On the pitch, sure. That was Moyes tho. Off the pitch our club has never been better than mediocre since Kenwright has been in charge.

So coming 4th, 5th and 6th was medicore? Never getting relegated from the PL is medicore?

It is very mediocre. Utterly so. That was never acceptable.

Ask an RS or Man Utd fan what they think.

If its not good enough for them, why did it become good enough for us?

And then ask what has happened since the heady days of our solitary 4th placed finish?

Even then it was a joke. Lost in the qualifying round, then drop down to the UEFA Cup and got battered in that qualifying.

Not to be outdone, we lost 0-7 to Arsenal in the league after 4th place was secured.

Their fans were mocking us.

Champions League you're having a laugh. Indeed.
