Those Magnum ice creams are killers. If it was the salted caramel, no wonder he went rogue.
I have no concept of what salted caramel is, but I know if I spoke out against it I would be stuck down - smited, smoted, smotten - you know, proper Old Testament style wiping me from the face of the Earth.

smote is the past tense of smite, but smite has two past participle forms, smote and smitten

the meaning of smitten changed from being struck to being stuck with a feeling in the mid seventeenth century

I would be smote or I would be smitten would both be acceptable in the context of my sentence.

I'll be honest I felt absolutely nothing after that game.

I was working during the game, I had the goal flash up on my phone and then didn't look again until after FT. Totally not arsed when I saw it, if they aren't going to fight to get Europe then saves watching the outhouses for more games next season. Fine by me.
