The Clear-out

I would want to clear out all but Digne, Godfrey, Allan & Pickford, but realistically were not going shift 20 players.

So the players I want to see gone in what's somewhat realistic is

Alex Iwobi - expensive, offers nothing been here 2 years now, issue with him is he's likely on high wages but he's value has dropped due to two years poor form. If we can get any kind offer for him we should be taking it.

Andre Gomes - I was a big fan of him when he was here on loan, he was strong and carried the ball and got us moving forward.
He hasn't done this for such a long time it's unlikely he'll get that back, currently he doesn't effect the game enough. Neat and tidy at times but looses the ball when pressured and doesn't defend well.

Gylfi Sigurdsson - Should let his contract run out and let him move on, he can't get about the pitch and the couple through balls, or the odd worldie he scores just isn't enough, too many games pass him by and this will happen more he's another year older and possibly even less.mobile.

Fabian Delph - He's had some alright games for us, but he's never fit.and seems very keen to sit games out. Terrible attitude and hasn't offered anything he was brought in to do. If any club will take him we should be doing everything we can to get him out.

Bernard - Shown flashes of quality in his time with us, but ultimately isn't good enough to overcome is physical shortcomings. Doesn't create much going forward and isn't a direct threat. We need his large wages off the wage bill.

Moise Kean - hasn't shown anything for us, but he may still be able.to cut.it, issue is I don't think he wants to play for us, we can't afford players like that in the squad.
If he comes back extremely motivated wanting to give it a go for Everton I'd be happy to have him, if it's Kean's usaul.attitude then we need to sell him as we should be able to get some good £££ for him.

Josh King - his deal expires, no point in.offering.him anything as he's not shown anything to suggest he'll make an impact.

Mason Holgate/Michael Keane - I wouldn't be actively looking to sell these, but we should be looking at any offers for either of them, they are both premier League centre backs but it's still an area to improve in if we have ambition to Improve on this season's efforts.

Even this, is more players than weRe likely to get rid of, but these players I beleive offer nothing to the squad and shouldn't be playing for us. (Exception of Keane, Holgate I just think we shouldn't be refusing any offers for them, and Kean depending on his motivation)

Some of you guys are going to be seriously underwhelmed when there is no clear out

Who are we expecting to buy all these players ? Any clubs interested are going to be a level below us so would pay lower wages... which means players are less likely to want to leave.
I’d love to see them all go but you’re absolutely right.

We’re stuck with these clowns for the long haul. The only realistic prospect of shifting them is to loan them out until the end of their contracts here.

Kenny, Holgate, Keane, Delph, Siggy, King, Iwobi, Bernard, Gomes, Coleman, Davies.

Since we can’t sell everyone at once since it will be unrealistic Keane, Siggy, Coleman and Davies as bench players. King leaving on a free.

Which means

Sell Kenny, Holgate, Delph, Iwobi, Bernard and Gomes. Please bring the right players in.

Thats the sad reality of the situation.
I guess there will be many loaned out.
We have really got ourselves into a right pickle haven't we.

This is a make or break summer for Brands he needs to get this one right, the worry is though a lot of transfer will be done late due to the Euros.

I think that would be a successful list of outs this season realistically, hopefully on top of Kean for some good money to PSG. Problem is I really don’t see who buys Iwobi, he’s awful, could see the others getting moved on though as they at least have something about them.

You'd think we'd have learned by now after years of being stuck with Mirallas, Besic, Bolasie et al. It's largely irrelevant who we'd like to get rid of. All that really matters is who will take them.

In terms of players who contribute nothing, Iwobi, Gomes, Bernard, Delph and Tosun stand out a mile to me. All on very good to huge wages too. If he manages to sell 3/5 I’ll throw Brands a street party.

Just about every single unwanted player we have manages to wind their contract down to the very long last god forsaken minute. No idea if this is the case with other clubs mind you.

Team full of bottle jobs, cash leeches, and players who neither have the speed, power or technical skills to compete in the top 4.

Everybody should be under the sell hammer.

The longer we leave it , trying to convince ourselves it will get better is fools gold.

Iwobi
Gomes
Delph
Bernard

some are already end of contract so will go anyway, Walcott, King, Besic and Olsen.

I think if we can offload the 4 mentioned there, then we will have had a result and got some big wages off the books.

I’m happy to let Gylfi run down his contract from the bench, but if somebody is willing to take him off our hands then great.

Iwobi is the one.

Stinks the place out week after week offering nothing but then posts pics climbing aboard a private jet to go and live it up.

Couldn’t be further from what people want and expect from an Everton player.
You should watch his YouTube channel. Did make me laugh when he complains he's trained hard .
I just can't see what Brands saw in him . His Arsenal C.V was hardly shining . At least Siggy had a brilliant international and domestic record especially as they are both seen as average sides . Yes , that's the same Iceland side that made England look like yesterday's Everton team .
