The Dead Thread

How do you get a cardiac event in a jacuzzi? A jacuzzi is one of the most relaxing things you can do.

Temperature has a lot to do it with it, your body cannot control it properly whilst submerged in that kind of water temps. That can lead to fainting, heart issues and so on.

If you're not well to start with or have had a lot of alcohol or other substances then that increases the risks.

Its a subtle difference, and to this day I wish I never knew it. But a cardiac arrest means sommet stops the heart working, often an infection. The heart itself is fine.

A heart attack is a busted heart that stops cos its done for. So if after years of substance abuse some internal organs pack it in/are compromised, we are where we are.

They can be dangerous to those with a heart condition at too high of a temp, I think pregnant ladies are also warned about using them.

There may also be other factors given the poor fellas history

His heart apparently stopped for 5 mins in 2020 and they broke his ribs trying to revive him so it perhaps he had a repeat and unfortunately he was alone.

The inherent weakness, in heart or other vitals, will always be there in most cases. Bodies are lazy, and repairing organs will usually do the minimum needed to survive, ergo, maintain their weakness, whatever caused that in the first place.

That was absolutely horrible. Devastating.

I know it’s been written about as a “freak accident”, but I’ve been watching ice hockey for 40 years and there is something very strange/suspicious about the movements leading up to the incident.
Thought it looked a bit odd myself. Also read since, that the fella whose blade caught him was a bit of a known nark with the worst disciplinary record in the league.
No doubting the outcome wasn’t what was expected but can’t help but wonder if there was any intent in the flailing leg / skate

If you watch the full clip again, and not the shortened one showing the impact only, the Sheffield player involved tries to body check the player gliding in front of him, gets the contact wrong and spins out after clipping the players skate

I see the racists on X have decided the other player should be executed.

I wonder why that may be….
