This is a few days late so apologies if already mentioned, but Alas! Bonafide punk icon Gary Floyd of the Dicks has died. The ever-tiresome Mike Ness of Social Distortion goes on and on and on about how tough it was being a punk way back when, but if he wanted to face real danger, he should've tried being Floyd, an extremely out "commie faggot" in Texas. RIP Gary Floyd. Shut up Mike Ness.

RIP - Paul Holmes

Everyone at Everton Football Club is deeply saddened by the death of our former defender Paul Holmes.

Paul was just 56 years of age and passed away after a brave battle with cancer.


He joined Everton from Birmingham City in 1993 and played 28 times before moving to West Bromwich Albion in 1996.

RIP - Viv Busby

Everyone at Everton Football Club is saddened to learn of the passing of our former coach Viv Busby.

Viv, along with Adrian Heath, was part of Howard Kendall’s management team during the Blues legend’s third spell in charge at Goodison Park in 1997/98.

The pair had previously worked together at Sheffield United and had been playing teammates at Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers.
