"WOOOOO!".

koff.

That's so cringey, no idea what home fans think if they don't know the song!

As said before at Goodison I like SOTB as the pre match build up just before the teams come out but if it's a win (which is a rarity) I don't think there's anything better than belting out "IF YA KNOW YER HISTORY" as the away end filters out. Perfect way of saying Everton's place in the football pecking order.

I was saying it in jest but clearly the away fans like signing it at regular intervals so those at the top won't be ditching it anytime soon.

The club are completely out of touch with their own fanbase.

GOT has to be played as the penultimate song before games and the first song after any win or morale boosting draw.

It's that simple.

I did smile reading this thread after the commentary specifically mentioned GOT and said words to the effect that Everton have the best array of songs in the Premier League. (Not sure you get the same commentary in the UK as we do in NZ but it was around the 83 minute mark - Jon Champion I think).

I personally don't like GOT as it fades away too quickly but I don't like the Woo song either as it just makes me cringe.
The true Everton song is We shall not be moved starting with Onward Evertonians.
A couple of other songs that I really liked from the early seventies were:
You are my sunshine( when sky's are grey)
And 'When your smiling"
This of course must be ended with "without your kecks on"
All that said I don't sing at matches anymore and if you ever heard me the Karaoke you would understand why.
