The Devils Demise

The current online trend is writing everything off, players, managers, clubs the lot.

90% of the time theyre wrong too.

True, but what I'm saying is the tracks are running out.

They are going to need a top top manager who knows what he's doing, and that isn't always the solution, as previously discovered with Chelsea and Liverpool, more so Chelsea.

They seem to be relying on one player, whereas in the past it was one player plus around 5 or 6 support players who were world class.

Who is world class at United? How many of those players can you see at Barcelona?

They have a top, top, top manager mate.

Admittedly they're looking awful lately but time will tell.

Yes I know they have now, are you listening to me? Or is all that sun going to your head?

He isn't going to last forever, 5 years ago he was retiring, so it can't be far off.

I thought I would come on here for some intelligent conversation, but it seems people are not listening to me!!!!!!

Re-read the thread if you can be arsed, if not don't bother!!!

I think we are witnessing the beginning of the demise of Manchester United.

These are the facts.

1. Rooney the only real superstar at the club.
Agreed, but they are only minus, Ronaldo
2. Too many ageing players
United have an excellent Youth System.
3. No real young talent coming through, not compared to the Scholes, Beckham, Neville eraSee above.
4. Manager is ageingWho isnt
5. Owners have just piled more debt on the clubWho hasnt
6. City, Arsenal, Chelsea just have too much talent and financial muscle. Not sure about talent, agreed on the cash.

Hope that helps.

Do you want us to just agree with you and say they're finished then you'll leave this thread alone lid?

They're finished.

With the greatest of respect Mr Azul, he would like to discuss this point, I would like to discuss the matter with him, simply, because personally, I think its a kneejerk one, without foundation.

It's not knee-jerk, I was just putting it out there - I happen to think they look a little ordinary, and when they come across big teams they shrink, last season's CL final, last year against the Kopites.

I honestly believe they are there for the taking this season by any club who fancies it. This is the worse United side for about 20 years, and I truly believe that.
